Yeah, just found this out after finally playing the game. Guess the first guy who answered my was either misinformed or confused about the labeling. Honestly, this is great news! Much easier to fap with a non-aching finger.
If you are trying to play on from a 15.1 save file in 15.2 the game sort of half restarts you and resets a lot of values, seems like you have the progress but the game thinks you have just started... so shit gets broken and you get stuck... if you want to play 15.2 you should backup and then delete all your save files from 'C:/Users/*yourusername*/appdata/roaming/renpy/summertimesaga/' and start a new game, otherwise you will not be able to progress in the game

NO, YOU DON'T. If you have the 0.15 version YOU SHOULD READ "0.15.1 changelog" UNDER THE MENUS.
To anyone who has lost their progress and can't be bothered grinding money again... (like me)
If you go to your game folder, open the renpy folder, find a file called '00console.rpy' open it with notepadd++
Ctrl+F and find the line 'config.console=False' and change it to 'config.console=True' and save the file.
Now in game you can open developer console by pressing Shift+o and type in 'player.inventory.money=5000' or whatever value you like as long as it is less than 99999. Should speed up your progress if you're as annoyed by restarting 3 times in the last 24 hours as i am.
