How can I delete all previous save data and start comepletely fresh? I've tried deleting the game but that doesn't help. My settings are still as how I left them in-game. I want a completely fresh start where the game has to install everything again when I boot it up and where all my previous saves get deleted.

I also can't quit the game properly. When I hit quit I just arrive at a laggy rainy screen with a few character customization options that don't do anything when I click on them
I'm pretty sure you have to delete the folder from the appdata directory. There are a few walkthroughs on how to do it earlier in the thread.

Sounds like the "magenta bug". There's a good amount of info about it if you go back a couple of pages, but I think the general fix is to make sure you've got the latest version and then delete your appdata for the game.
I'm also having this issue and deleting the appdata file didn't help, All characters turn magenta if they are a certain distance away from the camera. Also during interactions with clients my characters model and animations either glitch out completely or are transparent.

character is bright purple, i was in the character creation menu an if i go to advanced and mess with the sliders it shows what the character should look like for like a fraction of a second I'm not sure but maybe it could be to do with my screen size its a 3440x1440 and quite a few games don't like it but i don't get why it would show for an instant when using the sliders

MAGENTA BUG FIX

Hey folks! Found and fixed the magenta bug / missing shader issue. Turns out the latest Unity update changed the way that shaders get packaged up, and some vital shaders weren't being included.

New download links:

MAC:

LINUX:

WIN32:

WIN64:

Also, I've got a request for those of you who are getting stuck on !

Normally, the best place to report bugs is , but for this specific bug, I'd like to get some output logs emailed to me directly. (Please do not email me your logs unless you are experiencing this exact bug on launch.)

This build of the game was set up to be a lot more resilient against startup errors, and if you're still getting stuck on that screen, it means there's something very unusual going on. If you have a few minutes and would like to help me track down these unusual issues, here's how you can help:

1) Find your outpug log.

On Windows, it should be located at: C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Fek\Rack 2_ Furry Science\output_log.txt

On Mac, it should be located at:
~/Library/Logs/Unity/Editor.log

2) Email it to me at , with the title "Uncaught Startup Exception"

Thank you! <3
Sry to bother,
is there any way to solve this problem? OwQ

Open the Run Command type in C:\Users\$accountname$\AppData\LocalLow NOTE: replace $accountname$ with whatever you set it as

Locate the Fek Folder and Delete it

Have you deleted the Fek folder and installed a fresh download?

If not do that

for the bug : stuck in the rain screen : you need to go in appdata->locallow->fek->embellishments and delete what's inside, the game work but you won't have some things like hair, horn ect... it's a shame but at last it work
make sure you have make a Backup of the fek folder before, because the game WONT re-add the content inside "embellishments"

i'm no modder that the only way i found

if you ask why : the game can't load the embellishments proof here :

Played for a little while, it's still glitchy as ever. Guess I'll come back and look at this in two years or more (since that's probably when it'll be finished.)

Fair enough, really. This is a massive undertaking for a game, I'm pretty shocked that it works as well as it does at this point. I do wish that Fek would be more open to the concept of having additional people work on it. As far as he's gotten with the models and things, I don't think his vision would be much compromised by having some outside assistance. Even though I hate saying shit like this--he could afford to pay a couple of folks based on his Patreon numbers.

I don't know everything going on behind the scenes. However just judging from his Trello board, it looks like he's putting in maybe 10-20 hrs per month. Considering he calls this project his 'full-time job', I'd say this is somewhat eyebrow-raising. 2yrs would be a very very optimistic if he doesn't take it a bit more seriously and/or get some outside help if he's having some personal issues.

he work less per 20h a week and have 27.000 dollar (divide by 2 you approach the real amout of dollar he get) per month, even he have a personnal issue he can work on it if he want.

dev is not a difficult job (especially when you work less than 20h a week) even if your sick you can work. it's like cook or nurse... and he is independent , that mean he can work where ever he want and when ever he want. if he don't want to work then he don't work .
people pay because they trust/want to trust (what ever they want to trust) ... but they have ABSOLUTELY NO GUARANTEE the job will be finish, blame patron don't blame the man who use patron.
when people will realize most of the guys who use patron.com don't even finish their project and most of them work when they want... then you will have a good pool of good project where dev really WORK for their projects, but, fek just do what he want because he have no obligation(thx patreon again not him).
Most of the time when i look (curiosity) his stream he just play a game like he was on twitch or youtube. i can easily say without doubt he work 1 day per week and less than 15 hours. And that why i will never give a cent to his project, except at release(recap : no garantee no full time work.)

shame to me, maybe, but shame to patreon who give no guarantee.

that all i have to say, i will not answer exept to give the hint i find to bypass bug like the rain screen or magenta skin
(and sorry for poor english)

Guys I can understand your frustration with the current state of the game. I can see some pros and cons to whether he works alone or works with a team.

Working Alone:
Pros - you have full control of what gets done. Keep all the Credit for yourself
Cons - Releasing updates, fixes and generally getting everything done takes longer

Working with a Team:
Pros - Able to delegate someone to code Sexual Interactions, Toys.
Cons - Having to wait for code from one of your Team delaying update release

Most of the time for the money that the patron's are paying him ($27,000) and only working 20hr's a week I can't understand why he doesn't actually put some effort into getting the phases completed. Sure you might have other responsibilities other then working on your game and sure taking One day to do his D&D stream is all and fine.

Now I want to give some facts on the actual classification of a "Full Time Job"

If you all have looked at this site (furry.science) and look down you can see the following

Why don't you hire some help?
I prefer to work alone for many reasons, including:
  • I really like the challenge of doing everything myself, as well as the recognition that comes with it. When someone hops in stream and says "wow, I can't believe you did this all yourself," it makes my dingly parts tingle.
  • I really dislike the legal side of working with people. I hate sending out 1099s, I hate drafting contracts, I hate tracking revenue and hours. But even more than that...
  • I hate the thought of just trusting someone to not be an asshat and fuck me over. There are a lot of great people in this industry, but there are also a lot of legitimate, literal psychopaths. To make things worse, empathy is often inversely related to talent.
  • Self-preservation is important to me. As soon as I start doling out jobs to anyone who can do something better than me, I will be out of a job. The expression "jack of all trades, master of none" is applicable to me. I will find a better artist. I will find a better programmer. I will find a better audio guy. The only reason I have a job doing what I love is because instead of paying someone else to do all my heavy lifting, I do it myself.
  • Practice. The only way I'm gonna get better at all of these things is to continue doing them myself.
I will be honest, I totally understand why he wants to work on this himself and at times I feel like I should just cancel my own subscription to his patron. Though if I did that we need someone else to be able to attain the links so that it can be updated.

This is just my opinion on the matter

Although I love that you can share the builds with us. IT'S YOUR MONEY, AND I WOULDN'T BLAME YOU IF YOU CANCELLED YOUR SUBSCRIPTION. The Dev sure takes his time with this project, and the updates are seriously delayed. Thank you very much Shenz.
