he's the only one who does the artwork for the game...so yeah I would think that's the bottleneck.

dc should go on deviant art to look for artists who can emulate his style well enough.
The art is not the problem its posing and code that take the time.

If you watch his streams you can see he has a lot of art saved in a lot of folders.
He is about 4 months ahead with most of the art and only needs to work on the nude/main plot scenes.

For several months now he is letting the vote tell him who to work on and he gets it done while at the same time working on later content for the game.

Main plot/nudes are about 1 month ahead of what is needed.

Could someone explain to me what 'posers' are when it comes to a renpy game with mostly static art?
Wouldn't 'posing' be something that DarkCookie does when he is drawing? Does he not draw the poses?

This isn't like a Daz3D art game where 'posing' is something you do to the 3D characters you are using. And it isn't a full 3D game where poses and animations have to be created, separate from the character design itself...

And one more quick question! The last time I played the whole game through was just before the Halloween patch last year. I didn't bother with it during that one or the 'half version' afterward, because I wanted to wait for 0.15. What scenes were added/polished in those two versions? Thanks!

sounds like darkcookie needs better coders, and posers.:FeelsBadMan:
While I don't disagree, it is pretty apparent that the scope of this game is a lot larger than most indie porn game you'll find out there. It's one of the few games that gameplay feels necessary and semi-enjoyable and usually programmers that you'd find for this sort of thing (especially ones that you fine early on in a games life cycle) know only the basics and are trying to do this for better experience.

I assume it's the placement of the art assets and on the screen or something. Like considering DC makes the characters and puts them on a background, the characters need to be placed on screen in a way that doesn't suddenly disappear or suddenly in the corner of the screen while there's an ongoing dialog. Since the poses seem to get finished soon after the art is completed, I'm assuming that it's a simple enough job so long all the scenes are in place and they've done all talks needed for it. Again, I'm just assuming for this mostly.

What has that have to do with being modest or falsely modest?
I think what they're trying to get at, if you go to a forum not in your native language and you don't mention anything saying that it's not your native language, you'd likely be ignored or worse belittled. So saying that like in this case, you mention that you don't speak english, any mistakes that you may have made that you're may not be aware of, makes it more likely that people will look at your message without any negative aspect. So saying "I don't speak (insert language), it's not about being modest or falsely modest, it's about making sure you aren't belittled if when you make a mistake.

Anyway, lets move on from this topic since we should focus on only talking about the game in this thread.

Looking at that, "The Pizza Job" made me think of "The Italian Job" which spawned all kinds of ridiculous scenarios involving elaborate gold heists, Tony using the Main Character to courier the purloined gold to his fences under the noses of the mob guys via secret compartments in the pizza warmer, safecracking, high speed car chases and Captain Terry crashing a speedboat into a garbage scow.
