The only thing you can really try here is to call someone for a date either Rachel or Carol. The date should take you out of the cave to New Neighborhood.
This only works if you are at the right time of day though. If the time is not afternoon or night (before midnight) then you may have to change your save file using a save editor. Variable #1 is the current hour. Set it between 14 and 23.
You may also need to change the switch for the part of the day to coincide with the time you set as well. Switch 5 set to true is afternoon (from 14:00 to 18:00). Switch 6 set to true is night (19:00 to 23:00).
You can edit the save file, start your game in the cave and then call one of the girls for a date. It should work to get you out.

Ah! You meant you changed the priority of the Windows Process for the game, not the "game priority". That makes a lot more sense. You probably just changed the timing of when the bug manifests since the bug itself is not yet fixed. Still, whatever works, yes?

I believe, looking at the relationship development in this game, that the developer's intent was that there would always be an obvious event or scene accomplishment for every three or four levels of relationship and that these would serve to reflect the relationship level of each person without having to present an artificial numeric measure.
I've seen it attempted before and it seems reasonably successful in this game as long as the player is aware of how this is intended to work. Unfortunately, there is not enough explanation about this so that, when a player is stuck and a relationship is not advancing, they are not sure if their actions are advancing the level and it has just not yet gone far enough (like all the recess quests), or if they are missing a critical trigger or item to advance. There is no way to review what was told to you during the quest that you might need to know or do.

Hm, looking at the problems of this update I'm getting a lot of deja vu from the 1.1 update. I think I remember that one also having problems. Oh well. As lackluster as this update was I was still happy to get it. Not satisfied maybe, but I was content with what was there and it'll tide me over until the next release.
Speaking of, now it's time to wait and twiddle my thumbs until BoN posts to announce the release date for the 1.4 update and what content will be included in it. Here's hoping that 1.4 will have the Laura/Amy content (or hopefully Shasha) that many having been waiting for. We probably won't hear anything from BoN until he posts about the next patch which, given the timeframe, will probably come around early January.
Until then, lads. See you next year!

Find the jaw cricket on the far west side of the map near some trees marked by the shining stars. (See the Coast World Map) == no see shining star in coast that map say in there but why go there is tree-- bug?

Yes -- No, well... The Jaw Cricket is a bug, just not in the code.
Are you actually on the coast map and not just the beach in the south part of the old quarter? You get to the coast map by taking the west exit on the walkway just north of the old quarter beach.
The walkthrough has very clear pictures of all of this.

All my progress with Jet's classes its GONE... MC just come in like 3 strokes... I've done everything except finishy Nadine's quest (I just need to go back to school and give her the last statue) and Phil's quest (still improving relationship in the school), I think it bug in some point doing Nadine's quest, it was just fine before that.
