SubjectI'm looking for support on a Trust & Safety issue.
DescriptionMiagamepack Patreon
Dear Trust & Safety team
It has come to my attention that a Patreon user by the name "Miagamepack" is misusing the platform by illegally downloading other creators content and reuploading it into his account.
This user already had an account banned called "Miagamehouse", which had over 800 posts of stolen content from both outside creators and creators on Patreon itself.
I hope this information helps the Trust & Safety team to make Patreon a better space for all creators.
The user in question can be found here:You must be registered to see the links
Regards.
Even worse. Guess it's the same person from a few months ago. Patreon needs to get there act together. For a 5% cut, they should be acting as our DMCA agent on there own site at leastHe ain't posing it as their work, he literally wrote on his page that he is offering other people's games for just one dollar.
I would say everyone who's games aren't stolen are bad dev's with bad gamesI wonder which is worst... illegal money making websites like those or the fact that one's game do not even make it on there
Yes, you are "special"That means my games are IMMUNE from giochi, mia or anyone else... !
Am I a superhero?
Yeah. We are pirates, but honest pirates.Look at how the community gathered together to take positive actions like this. Good job, folks! We all got to help and respect one another to elevate the industry as a whole--that goes to developers and fans alike! ;] It's great that there are some sharp-eyed individuals to detect bad a apples like Mia and Giochi (see Illegal Italian Website Selling Stolen Games thread), and monitor Steam and other similar sites to bring our collective attention to them so that appropriate actions can be taken.
Far from everyone thinks like that though!Yeah. We are pirates, but honest pirates.
It's not because we play the games for free, that we don't (those who can afford it) pledge for some, and, more important, that we don't care for their authors' good. We can't all help with money, but when we can help otherwise, we do it without hesitation. It's what make me proud to be part of this community...
