You get ride of the ads if you pay, but still you can download the games for free. The archive are password protected, but the password is (almost) the first thing you see when going to the site.
And also, the site find the games on its own, it's not just a copy of what is updated here.
Once again, what you say isn't the truth.
Firstly F95Zone don't force people to pay, only those who want do it. While the "guy" only made paywall protected post.
Secondly, F95Zone don't ask for money to make a living, but to cover the cost. While the "guy" didn't had a single cost since he didn't even bothered to use his own links.
Thirdly, F95Zone don't just post link to stolen games. Many games are present here because the devs themselves gave the link. Many other are present because someone have effectively paid to have it. In the end few are really here without counter part for their devs. This while the "guy" only posted games that he found here, lying to his patrons by saying that he'll use their money to legally acquire the games.
Which lead to a question... You only said lies, and you said them in defense of the "guy". Why did you felt the need to do it as your first comment ever ?
Just because you got the game yourself from patron legit doesn't make it okay to share it however you want, fyi...

Or use Kickstarter/Gofundme if he has a good idea for a game?
Or offer his programming/designing skills (that I'm assuming he might have if he wants to start a project) to other devs?

Lol everybody starting somehow. And stealing is not the best way. Fine, I'm will be honest and tell. Ok my sw is not 100% legal too, but what I'm doing? I'm doing some art or something and using that sw to create something. He just get complete thing and resale it. And that is wrong. If he use maybe images from game and make comics from them. Fine, I'm ok with that, he created something, without ours permission, but hey why not.

Why not just write a story, start a small resonable Kickstarter to get going with a second hand gaming pc and then turn it into a patreon, disgusting mentality in that email. Always needs things they can't afford, most of us make due with what we have, and you can easily get good enough hardware to get started for a just a couple of hundred, and as the game progresses, upgrade the hardware. If he already had a few months of money he should have enough. Old Hardware hadn't stopped people before on this forum,
