Patreon, being a private company, can and will do whatever they think is best for their interests. Nothing a few disgruntled porn game players do will affect their decisions in any way.

I think loli/shota hentai or even 3D porn is just fine and dandy because its not real and doesn't hurt anyone. The argument that loli leads to pedophilia is flawed. I would need some proper data and research on such things to get on board. Real CP is of course incredibly fucked up. That said, loli porn looks incredibly bad to the majority of society and corporate interests. It makes perfect business sense for Patreon to crack down on stuff like that.

I don't see where people posted "shit that has nothing to do with the title". However, I've seen you defending Patreon because "they said they didn't do that" and then spamming the same irrelevant picture again and again when people presented evidence. If anyone polluted the thread, it's you.

I did and if you care to look I responded to it. It is also just one single case, it does not mean everything anime style is banned from Patreon does it? Also the response was dated Dec 17 and it does not say in which year. So if that was in 2019 that means that there has not been a ban enforced on someone in 4 months by Patreon for using anime style content.

That'll change sooner or later. Patreon's been burning venture capitalist money to keep their rates low, but they can't keep this up forever. As soon as they've secured themselves as a fixture in the market, they'll jack up their rates and a lot of devs will be feeling very sad that they defended them.

Patreon comes after devs one by one with their obscure rules, they don't blanket bans hundred of devs in one day; they move slowly--I suppose they are a small team. Don't you see that they are a bit invasive, asking access to personal Google drives? banning devs from giving links to Patreon on other platforms?
I've been supporting devs on Patreon for four years now and I've seen Patreon restricting what's allowed more and more; first it was incest, then rape or anything that could be non-consensual sex, then bestiality, then furry and anthro; now it's characters drawn in Japanese style with big eyes. What's next?

So you are telling me that one person got banned from Patreon for Anime style content depicting a minor on Dec 17 and that means that everything anime style is banned? Yet I can go the games section of this sight and download Anime style content, that has links to the Devs Patreon post.
