Like you I have also played the game since the demo AKA 0.1 and from what I have seen the guy most of the time is very punctional when it comes to his updates and if there is a delay usually he would mention it. So for some who know this and all of a sudden see not only no warning of a delay, talk about making a My new life 2, and other posts unrelated to the original game it tends to make some people wonder.Guys.. there's some stuff going on over in Spain. One thing I know for certain is that BON is Spanish. AFAIK, BON lives in the Catalonia region of Spain and there's been turmoil there. The economy is bad there so he needs to keep his patreon income coming. I have played this since the demo days and if anything, BON seems driven and will get this done. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and I won't dignify any rumors.
If I change the post, it will be a release, because of a statement that is from BON, or a lack of activity on his part. Let's run that down.. he's still active and is posting on patreon so there's no reason to think "abandonment" because it has to be at least 2-3 months before we consider it abandoned. BON has not made any statement about abandonment but did make a comment about a release this Sunday. So... He's active and has stated he plans to update it.
Where is this abandonment talk coming from??
He generally shows up on Patreon with flurries of activity every 2-3 weeks or so. So he would go a few days with a lot of activity and then go work on stuff and return in about 2-3 weeks. Another flurry of activity and then resurface a few weeks later. He had 2 extended periods of "silence". A recent period of "silence" was from Sept 01 to Oct 06 and then then the last one was from Oct 13 to Nov 02. Make of it what you will.
I seriously doubt it seeing as Charles home is in the same apartment build that Ronald would be in. In other words next door to you. It isn't Phil, or Jason's either seeing as the last is in the building Jet lives in and Phil lives in new neighborhood.
