he was making 4 figures off his patreon though... he'd have to do it for free from now on. maybe he could pull an akabur and post his dl links elsewhere, and phrase everything cleverly so he isn't explicitly violating terms... idk, nintendo could probably still fuck him if they really want to

what if he do it via streamlabs ? i think you can put there an anonymous link to donate from there to his paypal in case patreon is not save anymore otherwise via a new patron the changelogs and new stuff showing in a much different way but look like usual in the game. showing as horrid as possible on patron but in the game as awesome as always
He never did anything with nintendo though. Nintendo and Disney are crazy about keeping all recreations of their characters kid friendly.
So is the current version up until Cerulean town or did I do something wrong? I'm just used to demos/unfinished games to have a note saying "this is the end of current vers" or sumsht like that.

The furthest you can go is route 24, North out of cerulean city.
There is no specific "end of current version" as you can always go back for any creatures you may have missed or to level them up...

Well Disney is manic about protecting its brand. The corporation once threatened to sue a school for using Disney Snow White characters in their school production of Snow White.
Still this is a parody, but without the money to fight the issue you lose right or wrong.
IMO if this is a real threat from Nintendo (and not inane gossip) the most he can do I would guess is rename the main character, remove the pokemon updates and create his own monster world. Basically rebuild the game. So I would suggest if you like this game keep your files.
It's not like Nentendo invented monsters or the name Leaf. They have been considered by many in the business as being douchebags almost since their inception though.
I can understand their perspective of not wanting someone to make apparently thousand dollars off their work and not wanting their children brand to have anything to do with sex

The issue here is if today the Creator used names and made the design similar, then Nintendo can't really do anything about it. However the "punkmon" are all their original names and designs. Honestly, today I think the creator should just change the names since we can choose to name them whatever we want. Also maybe change some of the designs. Anyway, I hope this isn't the end for this game, I have really enjoyed it so far

How to get to that area? My cerulean town options is just stuck with Travel backwards, mart & center then gym which only has the 4 lesbo scene between leaf and misty. Did I miss something?

Check the flash screen at the start of the game.
In the bottom right corner is a version number.
Does this say 0.20 or 0.201?
If it says 0.201 you should be able to "Explore" in Cerulean City & find the road north.
If it says 0.20, I am guessing you used the update patch.
I found it didn't work properly.
If you download the new version of the whole game, it should be fixed.
