His point is that the game(something unlimited) had to be re-named, and that maybe the creator of this game should consider doing it sooner rather than later, as in waiting for the big bad copyright holder to start being threatening.

Not just re-named, the author actually had to "hide" the game for some time, even took it off from his pantreon page and on those times i only read news of that game from game forums like this one, not sure if he replace it back.

Don't get so thrown off by that, you clearly haven't spent a lot of time in the star-wars genre outside the movies. Google Darth Talon. Plenty of skimpy armor and tatts in Star Wars.
1) Darth Talon looks comical and tacky, not sexy.
2) I understand now why Disney ended the EU. I thought the novels I used to read were bad enough, but at least no one had to actually see how dumb those were.
Disney ended the EU so they could make what ever low effort toy selling story they wanted with out having to worry about canon. see every movie since.

Look, I know people put these out there for a "look at this, it's a thing I made" but when that thing is only 3 sentences long with the plug for Patreon and the game at the end being longer than the actual game .... something is wrong.
We can't judge the content on 2 minutes worth of clicking. What do I know about this game?
I know it took me longer to extract the file than it did to play it.
What do I know about the games content?
Absolutely nothing. It can't even be considered a trailer as trailers show you what is to come .... and they last longer. No character introductions, no plot points and no hints at what's to come outside of some bloke in a stormtrooper helmet plugging the game telling us what is coming up will be good ... the preview should have done that. If you have to tell us you're making something good at the end of the thing you're making, you're doing it wrong.

Disney will have no recourse for this. It falls under fair use and the fact it is a parody means the creator can make money off of it directly imo.

Absolutely not, we are not making money from the downloads of your game. We are a strange type of pirates, we have an ethics :coldsweat:. Consider us big experts in porn games. We can't buy all of them, so we are sharing them. However we (myself included) are supporting a lot of devs on patreon too. Moreover here you can found a lot of people ready to help you with suggestions, bug-fixing, modding. A lot off devs are here because of that.

It's not a case of being burned out, far from it, not is it a case of mistrust. It's a case of confusion.
Teasers are designed to what it says on the tin, tease, leave you wanting more. This left me confused.
Like I said in my post, it took longer to extract the file than it did play through it. You call it a teaser but what exactly is it teasing? What's the, who are the characters and why we should we care, why are they doing what they are doing.
I brought up the novel part of visual novel because, to a lot of us, that's the important part.
People download something like this and expect some sort of intro into what's coming up. Here we know less after clicking 3 things than we did when we started.
I can't say you have a shit game nor can I say it's good because all we've seen is a paragraphs worth of writing and a handful of renders that show us nothing about what's going on.

I'll certainly try it, I want to know what the fuck is going on.I want to take SCREW WARS for a different path, and some things will need time to get developed and to acquire a better understanding of them.
When the next update comes, If you want to give it a try, I will welcome you to do it. But right now, telling you more will only spoil your game experience, and this is the last thing I would like to do.
Do not misunderstand me. I really appreciate the time and effort you're putting in your comments but... let yourself be confused a little more
If it's going to lead somewhere then i'll keep following but the worry when something is so short and so vague is that it isn't going to go anywhere.
As it stands i'll take your word for it and that you have a plan. If it's going to be a story that builds up then i'm willing to give that a chance now I know what to expect, or what not to expect as the case may be.
