Doubtful, he always goes with the hinted at, subtlety mentioned but relatively unknown villain behind the scenes. Crayden will be dealt with and then you'll probably have 1 or 2 more big bads to address like the snake god who's likely controlling Laquadia, the Dragons of the nine, the Ahn'Terra, or whoever Zweibelle really works for. Or even still a completely unknown as of yet threat, lotta options there, I just very much doubt Crayden will be the final boss.
Anyways that is likely a long, long, way off....., this developer will drag the development out as long as possible to keep the monthly payments coming in afterall. For reference remember his last game, while the scale of it was not quite as large it was similar to this & Gabe made it in far less time with far less resources, as well as being less adept in RPGMaker at the time. Bottom line, he would have done the same again with this game but then... Patreon became a thing, a whore of a thing too good to pass up.
The whole state of the game is actually pretty amusing, the massive misappropriation of funds in particular, on shit no one ever asked for or wanted(busted ass eurotrash cosplay girls, TONS of commissioned art that's not even going to be used in-game ever, lame ass mini-games like strip poker, etc etc)
And then there's the polls where he asked supporters for input on what they wanted most, which was more focus on the MC getting laid, only to turn around and do the exact opposite time and again. LoL.
The man is so consumed by his own fetishes he just can't seem to bring himself to fulfill his promises to his fans/supports. And yet he's still getting paid, like I said, this shit is amusing.

Technically not true.
While Gabe has asked and polled us, we've never been promised anything. We've been asked what we wanted but Gabe never promised to do any of it.
Not defending, just saying.
I stopped supporting because it was moving far too slowly not because I felt lied to.
We're still looking at around another 2 or so years development at this speed. I shifted my support over to another RPG dev that drops regular updates. I don't like feeling like i'm being taken for a ride for my money but I can't say Gabe ever broke a promise to me.

well i don't have money to pay patreon plues i have trouble trusting people who use these pay sights just saying. we will have to see what goes on with the game. gabe does good work and it is true devs never do promise stuff from what i resd on there tiers.

tbh, it's kinda genius what Gabe pulled, he/she receives a ton of money monthly and gives very little in return. The programing is very easy to do, as she only uses rpg maker assets, her only real work is commissioning artists.

Not to play devil's advocate, because I also think development is too slow here, but Gabe definitely does plenty of work. Organizing and managing commission between 5 different artists regularly and multiple other ones irregularly is already a lot. Making a game in RPGMaker is simple due to the tools provided, but hardly efficient, and can be extremely time consuming.
Then there's the fact Gabe does ALL the writing. As someone who does writing/proofreading professionally I can assure you - it has its share of tediousness, and there is a lot of words in LoQO. Hell, the sex scenes probably have the best writing out of any western game on this forum, but then again it's not hard to compete with "O YEA YOU LIKE DAT? O YEA FUCK ME WITH DAT BIG DICK."
Gabe also does the coloring on some arts, the trading cards commissioned from Sparrow are only sketches.
So yeah, the game is relatively high quality and bug-free all things considered, and it's pretty impressive considering it's a one-man project. If anything I'm surprised it's coming along at all.

There will always be set backs and delays. We the humble mass should be more understanding.i know that i should keep my mouth closed because i don't pay and to me there just games to fap too. The thing is are you really getting anywere by complaining about it. Yes call me dumb are a retaired but getting upset and angey will not help to make them work faster. Plues there are a lot of fap matirial to look at and play.

Tell the truth tho i still think rushing the game will make it turn out bad just hope the next update has more then two.sex scenes. I have also scene some little 3d sex videos with charaters from the game on video porn sites do not know who makes thoses tho.

anyone else have the issue where the game freezes in the church in illusian forest? a scene is supposed to play but the game just gets stuck instead...
Short answer... no...
But, if you have skipped a few updates, then there could be stuff added towards the beginning that you would miss.
(At the rate the updates come out, you could restart a game and catch up to the story before the next update.)
Personally, I'm at 2.14 and waiting for a bigger step before I update again...

Well i have played the last update and if you have done all the side quest you can use the orb to restart. This will let you have all your stuff even the cgs and cards you have already got plues you can get the stuff you missed. You my already know that tho
