Can someone please tell me How do you "explore" once you go in the maya room

You really can't do a lot inside Maya's room. By explore, you can:
a. check her closet (only possible when she's out) for a magazine. There's also a pinned money on the closet door.
b. check the bottom-mid of the drawer below your bed. You'll get a magazine.
c. check the table beside Maya's bed. You can either study or examine the top half for an additional magazine.
d. do the shuffle and brawler mini-games whenever possible.

If you did those, just proceed to sleep.

I haven't finished the first release yet but I was a bit apprehensive going in. I thought DrPinkCaught caught lightning in a bottle with Acting Lessons and wasn't sure if they could pull it off again but my first impressions are very good. Guess it's time to support on Patreon again.

So, played the first game and is already obsessed with it. This shows that pinkcake is one of the best creators along with Mr Dots, thengineer, daniels, and Begger of Net.

After Acting Lessons my hopes were pretty high for this one, but Dr PinkCake actually exceeded them. Funny, engaging, well-written and just plain terrific in every way. Mechanics that feel stale and annoying in other games work well here. It uses a LOT of tropes from movies, TV and other 18+ games, but does so with style and humour and manages to breathe life into almost all of them. Pointing out the awesome renders almost feels like a disservice because of how fully developed the characters are. As someone who was on board for how Acting Lessons developed, I loved the disclaimer up front and have faith that this will grow into something special. Even if that means in unexpected directions. Bravo! More than happy to throw a few bucks a month his way on Patreon.

its funny because game at this state just after 1 release looks better and offer so much more than most of the games out there, it feels like 2,3 updates in one and whats even more funny is the fact that Midnight Paradise in comparison to this looks like was made by a first timer who never done anything in his life. they all need to step up their "game"
Props to @DrPinkCake im very interested what do you have to offer this time, for me you are a genius, people are scared and thats even more exciting because im getting off from that, i mean i love good story and im wondering about causality and effect relationship in your game is there is any, how much and of course the consequences. Good Job

Fantastic job @DrPinkCake !
Went in blind, damn the english test is hard for non native speakers without cheating at all (not IG)
Graphics are top notch, characters are well defined (Derek is going to cause us a world of pain), girls are to die for...
Still a little cautious about how the story will evolve after AL, but i can already say i'll replay Episode 1 several times to test the paths.

First of all you can skip all mini games.. you have the option when you start a new game.

for the puzzles use

You must be registered to see the links

(3rd option) to activate the console.

After you start the puzzle press Ctrl+O and add this lines:

timer_range = 999
time = 999

you have plenty of time to resolve the puzzle now..
you don't really need the timer_range line but you should add it too.

still if you can't resolve the puzzle after 999 seconds you can use this site:

Select new grid 3 x 3, add your blocks and select where about the blocks should be and you'll get the solution in a few seconds.

is there a walkthrough? i finished the game but there's something i am missing, i only unlocked 4 scenes

I figured, it happens with a lot of Ren'Py games for some weird reason, but that doesn't make it any easier to extract. It gets deleted every time I try, and when I tell it to restore it and ignore it, it deletes it anyway. Even the font is 'suspicious'. Three hours and I still can't get the files extracted. Just one more game I guess I won't be able to play, because they did something to it that triggers the alerts, when most ren'py games can avoid it.

It happens with some games, not only Ren'Py, and usualy you go into the quarantine of you AV and set it on the whitelist. After that you shouldn't have a problem anymore.
