And yes. Wait is a standard action for almost every single location as stated in the changelog. Smoking in almost every outdoors and private location but is still subject to refinement when our additional location system is activated.

Some of them will disappear in some locations again as the clean-up proceeds. But we are capable of implementing standard activities at a whim in every room or street etc now so due to the mix of old/uncleaned location and new/cleaned ones its still a bit excessive - which is still better than missing or handcoded ones in the original as our wait will behave the same wherever you find it.

The cheats for example are very much game breaking so I understand why @toolkitxx took this decision
I use them in my own game but realise they have massive issues
For example if you increase your relationship with Katja Meynold using the cheats it will initially help but the relations score will then reset to a much lower level and only level the more you actually corrupt her
You could make her relationship level 200 but after some interaction it will reset to say 59 as it would with your mom as it is story (and actual interaction) driven
QSP games are always grind like MMO's actually its part of the appeal as the game lasts much longer than say a visual story game (weeks instead of hours/mins)

If You feel you have any rightfully intellectual rights to something that is part of this mod we hereby invite you to state your claims here in the thread and also provide some base for that claim.

So in order for me or anyone else to get their content removed from your mod, I need to plead my case in the court of public opinion? Amidst this little war between you and KS? Considering how people from your team and/or the people that use your mod (and likely post here) have come over to the TFG site to cause trouble by poking the sleeping lion and bringing up problems from the past (which Kevin has had that decency to keep private up until now) that were for the most part done and over with, on top of having "anonymous" users private message members of the original dev team in hopes of turning them against Kevin, I don't suspect I'd get a "fair trial".

How you think you or anyone else here has the right to judge someone and tell them what you will and won't do with their original content is absurd.

So everyone else can have their original content removed, except for Kevin, because you don't like him? He's put in as much original content as anyone else over the years. Girl Life may have started out as a derivative by translating the Russian game into English, but it has become its own game now, with there being more original content than there is translations. It's completely fair for him to make claims; he's not only coded (and continues to do so) the game, but he's also written content for it. If anyone is to be making claims for the game, it would be him and DeGross, and even if that weren't true and it was just DeGross, then you certainly don't have any more right to the game than Kevin does.

I have no idea where your judgement comes from as there is not a single statement that makes any difference between that said person and anyone else - quite the contrary thus the invitation to make any claims official as the base we started the work from was the work of many.

I have been in the open with what we do and did and yet it continues to spread against people that are basically just getting caught in the middle of whatever THIS is. Its called fairness where i come from. I never claimed any rights on something i didnt do but it continues to be spread i do. So i give people a chance to state their claims so this can be ended once and for all.

P.S: I forgot the most important part - was there anything you think we should remove because its yours?

Alright lads, let's calm it down. The discussion seems a bit heated at the moment. Toolkit stated if there is anything that one owns in the game, can claim rights to it (and can prove it), and doesn't want that in-game, then let it be known in this thread.

No names were ever mentioned, and jumping to conclusions is probably the wrong thing to do, especially as your first message in this forum.

I know you are upset about this subject, but in a respectful way, id like to state that as members of toolkits team, we remain free to make our own decisions. The one who sent the message to the member of kevins team, was simply trying to mend ties, not understanding, how they can have such a hate for what we do, to not even give our mod a try. We have no problem with kevin and would work with him, if not for his way of handling things. You may or may not recognize me a 006802 from tfgs. Who recently moved here to have a higher level of artistic freedom that kevin did not offer me. When i did so, i had no qualms with him and if not for his pm he sent me wouldnt have been forced to make a decision in a place where i wished to remain neutral. As for content as toolkit has stated, stake your claim and it will be removed. From jobs where i have collected photos for kevin, they were taken straight off google, no one has gotten credit for that.Which could be both of our faults, as i didnt offer names, and neither did he ask but it is still a fact nether the less. And if we remember his is a mod as well, he loses all copyright rights as he hasnt to my knowledge gotten their permssion making this topic of rights, very permissive. We have no wish to steal what belongs to the post, the post wasnt meant to say you had to get permission to stake a claim, it was simply to invite others, who may not be willing to have such confrontation to accept and make use of or respectfull, invite. This isnt about kevin, and this isnt about toolkit and the fued this is about a wish to take a good game, and nuture it to be the best it can be, both to coders and players alike. This nullified any copy write claims and is the basis for allowing the Girl Life project to exist. As such anything in his last version of ETO (1.1.0) is free to be used whether it is part of Girl Life of not. No permission has been given or is posted on Girl Life (or Province who we have a sharing agreement with) giving the same free permissions.

I will not stake claims nor is it required that I do regardless of what Toolkitxx has posted in that regard.

Toolkit is responsible here and wishes you remain in the open, i was hasty when i invited you to pm me, as a claim must be undisputed and must be in the open for all to see.

If you are truly willing to remove content at the request of the content creator then remove all Fedor Kozlov romance content and Nikolai Volkov's content as well as the npc himself. I have writen Fedor's romance past the intro date and made it into what it is today and Nikolai Volkov I have created from scratch, both his romance and him as a character. Nikolai is mine. If you truly are a man of your word then you will do this immediately.

Also don't import any of my future content, including the new math class or Julia Milov romance. So now for the real question, will you remove said content? Or will you try to weasel out of your statement?

I don't see why so many people are treating Kevin with such disrespect. Kevin has guided Girl Life into what it is today. He along with Lantera, Malen, Illume, nutluck and I'm sure many others, have been working on improving and expanding Girl Life for years. Kevin has been so dedicated to the project with an almost 24-7 attendance rate on the forums and he supports new ideas and always makes sure that the community comes first, a community that has build and shaped the same game that you are all enjoying. I wouldn't have even had the confidence to write the Fedor or Nikolai romance if it weren't for Kevin and nutluck's support. I thought that the Nikolai idea would have been shot down for sure but was pleasantly surprised at the support I received to write it. :heartcoveredeyes:

Many people seem to easily forget the time and work that many people put in to giving you a great gaming experience without asking for anything in return but to respect their right to decide what changes go into it. As for this being "Just a mod" I have to disagree because this is being uploaded with the original game's content attached. If you were to upload a mod for Batman Arkham Knight with a full version of the game attached then you would have Warner Brothers breathing down your spine in no time and they would be perfectly justified in doing it because that would be a form of piracy. :noexpression:

If you were to upload a mod to Nexusmods, Loverslab and many others, without the creators permission then you would be permanently banned because that would be considered theft, even if you have altered it yourself. That is why mod creators give disclaimers about who originally owned the mod that they have received permission to alter, as well as permission writes for others who may use their mods in their own creations. There are right ways to do things and there are wrong ways and this is simply wrong, especially with the disrespect aimed at one of the creators. :FeelsBadMan:

Just a fyi, Intellectual propriety made on basis of stolen content is not valid. So any mods, any content, anything at all made on this game is not valid since the game in itself is violating IP / copyright laws.

I'm not referring to what is legally right here, I am referring to what is morally right. Mods in general are not protected by copyright laws because they are alterations of the original game content. The real damage is to the communities involved. Modders get discouraged to continue creating content and communities get torn apart over things like this and that is why many modding sites have a no tolerance policy on things of this nature. ensive:
