As much as I like Jojo I need more character development from her which we finally started to get.

right now for me it goes
Sage and Zoey tied for 1st , then Maya, Nicole/ Jill ( undecided who I like more ) Josy then everyone else tho Bella and Quinn are last.
Personally I always through Josy has had very strong development from the start to now. For those that think it lacking it will make sense sooner or later

Might just need to do a replay to see her in a new light but idk it always felt her story / character development was always too focused on helping Maya then actually giving Josy some character development herself at least not that often till Season 3.

I agree to an extent.
I'm trying to think of solo development for her...

Even when her father visited and made peace with her, that was mostly to show contrast about how Maya's relationship was not in a good place with her father.

Josy is mostly interesting when you attempt to solo her while not in the throuple.
Her jealousy, resisting temptation, yet craving a relationship with the MC.
Otherwise, there is no development for her that really stands out in my mind.

A lot of people say that but I don't get it, we see lot with her insecurities which happens through out the game MC even helps her with it something Maya never did. Josy's own story has to do with her insecurities and slowly over coming it. It pretty funny people act like Josy doesn't have a story yet they say nothing about Bella who only story is James left. With Josy you wonder why is such a beautiful likeable girl worried about being like, how did her parents divorcee affect her, what caused her to be insecure about her body and more. Some want to discount that because a lot of it happen off screen but that seems pretty silly to me

I don't know if I'd call that stuff with Josy character development yet.
Bella is my least favorite LI, but regardless how you feel about the James story, she has a character arc.

Her arc has mystery.
Also seeking closure, moving forward from the past, and the taboo nature of her relationship with the MC.

As of now, Josy's self-image insecurities are more of a quirk than an arc.
There hasn't been much development there.

A few small moments where she feels short, insecurity about her breasts/pubic style, and how she reacted to Oscar the Grouch.

Some side girls have more development than that.
I do enjoy her character. Don't get me wrong.

Despite being a simple character that hasn't shown depth yet, she is written to be very chill and likeable... except the route where she's bitter about the MC ending the throuple.

I see Josy as having great development and has more then a few small moments it far more interesting to me then Sage or Quinn etc

I think the issue is probably her development isnt obvious to someone like me but someone like you that is able to see the subtle details it is. Which is why I think I need to replay her path again to try and see it at some point

Sage has a pretty decent arc.
Her whole drama with Chad and moving forward.
The trust issues she now has to overcome because of that whole ordeal.

Contrast with Tybalt on how she developed despite her adoption origin and privilege.
How she is trying to pay her good fortune forward.
Overcoming her temper so she doesn't repeat a Stephen/Jade relationship cycle with the MC.

That potential drama bomb if the MC has fooled around with Jade.
The mystery of who her biological parents are if DPC explores that.
There is a potential nature versus nurture exploration there, to see what traits she inherits from her bio parents.

Quinn has her backstory with drug-dealing and using parents.
It's interesting how much she imitates her father and follows in his footsteps.
Will she end up like him or break the cycle?

The whole drug wars drama with Vinny and her father's scheming friend.
There is the prostitution drama with Stephen Burke and the involved HOTs.

She has good character development if the MC is pursuing her, she opens up little by little.
She also has trust issues due to the nature of her upbringing.

Josy is that simple girl next door.
Good nature and base character, but hasn't grown or changed much.
Hopefully the spotlight will shine on her more in future updates.

We do see Josy get over being worried about cumming to fast, and growth about her body plus with Becky we be not as nice to her. Josy might be the girl next door but doesn't mean she lack growth

Becky is meaner towards Maya.
She is fairly pleasant towards Josy.
I agree, the fast cummer trait is another nice bit that supports her body issues.

It's hard not to make a joke about her "lacking growth.":ROFLMAO:
All in jest, I appreciate people whether they are short or tall.
Character is most important.

I agree that her body insecurities can definitely be explored more.
There is potential for that to become substantial.
Right now, I just don't see much growth or development there, no pun intended.

100% agreed.

When that phone call from her dad happened, I was hoping for some drama, for something to throw a wrench in her story, to make it complicated.

Then her dad is like "oh, you're the guy she can't shut up about? Can't wait to meet you". Which is cool, but doesn't serve to spice up her story in any shape or form, especially relative to the other main girls

Then Tommy finds out about it, and I got super excited... but he just pouts and says "Sisterfucker".
Honestly, he took it way better than I expected him to.

It would be a shame if the drama in her story remained tied to Maya's, but I don't think that will be the case.

I think it'll have to be something with her mom, but who knows how long we'll have to wait to get to that...

Not gonna lie even tho it was funny it was a big disappointment for me. I been waiting for that scene when Tommy finds out and was such a anticlimactic scene for me personally. The wait and hype was not worth it haha

Yeah, that scene was pretty disappointing. I was expecting another fight against Tommy, but I guess DPC wasn't interested in doing it. All I'm looking forward to for Chapter 11 is the rematch against caleb, but something tells me it's not going to happen. Well, at least I still have brawler. :HideThePain:

For me Zoey and Sage drama / comforting her cause of her parents is what I look forward to the most in Chapter 11. Ironically both of those girls are tied for 1st place for me as my favorite waifu and they both ended with a bit of drama / a cliffhanger to their story that I look forward to seeing what is next

It not like Josy story needs to get spicy that said Josy doesn't like her mom at all so I think there something there and likely can explain part of her insecurities and why she a daddy's girl (the best kind I might add  )

Sure, it doesn't "need to get spicy".

But I am saying that one cannot disagree with the fact that Josy's story is (relatively) the least dramatic (so far!), and that essentially all of the drama in her story is tied to Maya.

Honestly, my biggest disappointment was that he got angry, but not angry enough.
It's pretty much telling that this will be his biggest outrage about it, and he'll just throw passive aggressive snide comments at the MC from now on.

Imagine if he saw Josy, and didn't have an outburst, and just left the mansion in quiet anger.
That would be interesting setup for future conflict with Tommy, unlike the state it is in now.
Wasted conflict potential, sadly.
