Good eye. That was my initial reaction too, seeing the similarity between this and Gorillaz. It's all in the mouth that weirdly upturns at the edges, and that small upturned button nose. Still, went with Garbage Pail Kids joke instead, because at least Noodle evolved into something borderline attractive.
That, or she just 'works' in 2D in a way that isn't nearly as nightmare-fuel inducing as... whatever the eldritch horror in this game is supposed to be.

The weird :3 mouth, the large almost buck-like teeth in the upper part of her mouth, and the all too gigantic eyes combined with the loose attempt at realism. Hits so many places in the uncanny valley like it's a freaking demolition derby.Last I heard gremlins are indeed optimistic when it comes to businesses, just look at her !
