Unfortunately there's poetry, and the music is absolutely clipped to hell. Actually hurts to listen to with PC volume at 4 (usually set it between 20-30), so do yourself a favor and turn BGM way down in the settings before you try to play it.

This is probably his most soul crushing of all of them, atleast the other jail one I'm blanking on the name gives sweet release.
I don't know about this game and the last one that came out, but Witch in Debt has a pretty interesting and wholesome plot if you choose the virgin route.

Wait, Devils were tempted by ballad of anima is actually prequel? I thought it set after Kobold's Knight of Livestock.

Can anyone explain the full story and the chronological order?

Guess prequel isn't right term. pre-sequel maybe? Heh, It goes :

Damned, Kill me!! --> Kobold's Knight of Livestock --> Devils were tempted by ballad of anima

Chronologically in game universe.

Selma is in the first game, and Fatimas's (Main character and Selma's commander from "Damned, Kill Me!!") and her actions lead the third game.

Makes sense, since in the third game, this lady here, suspiciously looks like the MC of Kobold's Knight of Livestock.

Dem der kobolds look more like dem der werewolves I tell ya.
Yea as someone who plays DnD and looked into this before, in Japan they drew Kobolds like dogs in the earlier versions that it is very common in a lot of JRPGs with Kobolds in them to be more like Wolfmen/Dog-men. So whenever someone asks if kobolds are furries you gotta ask them to specify just to piss them off.

And orcs became pig-faced men, drow were actually demoted from subterranean demon worshipers to 'generic bad elf' and gnomes were just really short humans/dwarves without the beards.

There are a LOT of changes that were made (for better or for worse) when Japan adapted D&D. (JRPGs were the ones to cut debuff/death by old age and D&D has been slowly adopting that ever since)
