The worst part is, I saw him in another forum with a similar, but longer post. So I looked HIM up. Left a couple dozen quick reviews tonight. All relatively positive.
At least he didn't post a; GG.The worst part is, I saw him in another forum with a similar, but longer post. So I looked HIM up. Left a couple dozen quick reviews tonight. All relatively positive.
THIS ONE was the shortest he left. THIS game? REALLY?
All the ones I have played sounded like they were legit reviews too ... no specific details, but not cookie-cutter either. So either AI with info or not a bot ... but THIS game gets the generic "good job, dev" post.
Ah well.
Na ... I don't think he's playing these tonight. He's posted at least 20 "reviews" in the last 4-5 hours, and I don't see how he could get the context he's showing in some of the other reviews by speed-running them (unless he is an AI bot of some kind). I mean, he talked about how WVM started with an interesting story but devolved into "just a porn game", he mentioned the humor of Project Passion ... things that MAYBE a bot could learn in 20 minutes, but a person couldn't get all this stuff in one afternoon from all these games. At least he didn't post a; GG.
But yeah. Weird, because if a game deserves a detailed review, it's this one.
Maybe he was just tired to write? Too much review and fapping?
Ahhh, I see now. Yeah, I think it's a bot or someone who played these games already but decided to do a review just now because it's not some quick game if I can say (don't know if I make any sense), so he shouldn't be able to already know all that.Na ... So either he's just decided to review all these tonight, it's an AI bot of some kind spam-reviewing stuff, or some other trick.
Regardless of how, THIS is the game that gets the most generic review of all.
then maybe you should go meet her and subtly buy her that wine bottleGood points; you could be right about Lexi and Taylor Swift.
I didn’t know much about her, but I read a little, and, well, yes it's pretty close to Lexi’s story.
It seems that I know as much of Taylor Swift as the MC knows of Lexi in the early stages of the game.
yeah the music is great! almost on part with the tracks from being a DIK!This is exactly what makes this game/story so good. It’s pretty rare that the characters of an AVN are developed in such depth as they are in LOF. This also makes them much more believable and understandable than in most other lewd games.
Maybe the singer of the song “As It Falls” by J.A.K is actually Lexi…
Because I couldn’t find anything about the singer, it seems like her identity is unknown.
Speaking of music, somehow some of the songs in LOF are quite sticky; I can’t get them out of my head. Like “Hold Back the Sun” or “As It Falls” or “Be Kind”… Is anyone else facing the same problem? ^^
First impressions are important ... I played it as it was released, and while I appreciate the final soundtrack, there are some really key music queues that are sorely missed from my point of view.then maybe you should go meet her and subtly buy her that wine bottle

the worse part for me is that I first played the game with the "revised" tracks, so they now have much more impact, they felt more focused, with themes for each girl. when I replayed it with the "restored" tracks, there were so many that it felts more diluted. so even though it's a shame the dev lost his licences for most of the songs, the final version feels better because of it.
Well, I’m not so sure if this is going to work so easily. ^^then maybe you should go meet her and subtly buy her that wine bottle

About the soundtrack, on the first run I played the game with the newer music.First impressions are important ... I played it as it was released, and while I appreciate the final soundtrack, there are some really key music queues that are sorely missed from my point of view.
That said, I've always maintained that the final soundtrack is still excellent and would be more than fine for me if I'd never heard the original.
New version simply can't be better, bc Drifty was in hurry to replace all the problematic tracks and release full final version of the game.So I thought, let’s give it a try. So I started my second run with the original soundtrack.
But at the end of chapter 3, I was quite a bit disappointed, so I switched back to the newer soundtrack at chapter 4.
I think both are equally good, but I personally prefer the newer music. It might be because my first playthrough was with the new music.
If I had played it with the original soundtrack first, I might have preferred that.
If you make it through Cece's route, you have at minimum three more to go (or four if you're not interested in both Kira and Robin together). If you make it through all of them and are still enjoying it, then there's a few more variations you can play with (there are 10 different endings not counting who you set up Chris with nor leaving Steph behind).I’m now at the beginning of Chapter 6 at Cece’s route. And of course, Cece’s route is pretty good as well, but I still feel a bit sad for Lexi at the moment. Maybe I’m going to replay the game one more time, but then again with Lexi. Or should I also try Stephanie?
I made it to Lexi's mansion before I finally caved in and hit the Skip Text button.
The plot, beyond the ludicrous "gorgeous pop star (who is almost a virgin) lets a group of random strangers live with her for two weeks simply because she had a really great conversation with a guy at a bar," goes completely over the shark with the Homeland Security/Witness Protection revelation.
And there's just SO. MUCH. PADDING.
The dance sequence where the girls clean the mansion in their underwear, cameos from characters from other VNs, the subplot with MCs dad and sister, the entire yacht trip with Lexi and Holly, the "guess the underwear" minigame, the music video after they get on the plane the first time, CeCe and Kevin's conversation during the party to celebrate her recovery, the "2nd Prom" for Kira and Robin, Steph and MC go diving and THEN have a second conversation afterwards, etc.
It just goes on and on and that's time that should have been used for more sex scenes.
Why is MC sunbathing on a massage table? Are there no lawn chairs for sale on the DAZ store?
And apparently Drifty has never heard of the concept of boundaries in real life. Robin tells him she doesn't want to see him and he's all "See you in a few minutes." Why didn't that scene end with Robin screaming at MC when he showed up at the bowling alley?
If anything, I'm disappointed the MC was the same age as the other girls (hinted to be about 24-25). The thing would have made more sense if he and Steph had been late 30's/early 40's, experienced people who would be able to offer the life advice that MC offers to the girls.

There's a reason I didn't touch that point ...But I see your point with the spy thing ...
You mean his point? Or Steph's path?There's a reason I didn't touch that ...
fixed for clarity ^_^You mean his point? Or Steph's path?
yeah, the main one missing would be during Lexi's first sex scene. that one is *really* important and sorely missing in the new version.there are some really key music queues that are sorely missed from my point of view.
you definitely should try Steph. but you also should go for the other Lexi endings...Maybe I’m going to replay the game one more time, but then again with Lexi. Or should I also try Stephanie?
