Did your opinion and like towards certain fetishes/tags change since you've joined f95 zone. I personally started playing adult games through Steam for a year or so before discovering f95 zone. I've had negative view towards incest games for example but now it's one my fav tags. Even futa, I hated when I first joined but now I don't mind as long as it's not futa on male penetration.

it's been a process of discovering interests for things that probably were always inside me. some of it first triggered a negative emotion, but looking back I think even then there was some kind of internal thrill when you first discovered something kinky you thought you didn't like. I think it's mostly a learned negative response, which then gives in to your actual taste.

but I was playing incest games 20 years before f95 so no big change there. can't really remember if it put me off in the beginning, but I think not.

I can't remember whether I had a predisposition to corruption fetish before discovering this site and modern Western ero-games (I remember the one that introduced me to the fetish was not on this site), but it's certainly my main fetish now.

My preferences didn't really change since coming here. The main thing that changed is prior to finding this site the majority of the adult games I had seen were very simple flash games like the Meet and Fuck stuff. Finding this site introduced me to much higher quality games and much better game engines. So for instance I didn't know I like VNs because I had never seen one before.

Until I joined F95 I had only played Lesson of Passion adult games, and some hit me much better than others but I had no idea why. So I guess my opinion changed in the sense that I learned about all these things and now know what tickles my fancy.

Despite the translation issues, to go from Living With Temptation to Son Of A Bitch! was a massive change in what I thought adult games could be in terms of scope and depth.

I was already a degenerate but the more I stay here the more things I try out of boredom.
Sometimes I find some new kink and other times I find something to wash my eyes with bleach afterwards, and sometimes both of them, don’t ask how it works.

Something changed.
Somethings remained the same.

I become more and more aware that what turned me on was power over woman.
Twisting and turning them into devoted sex slave's.
Everything else was just an enhancer.
Spices on the main course.

Incest i like because of the betrayel element.
Turning a stranger into your devoted sex toy is great.
Turining your family add's the extra layer of taboo, betrayel and exploitation.
I used to hate pregancy porn.
That changed.
Same with prosistution.
I used to hate the idea of other men touching my woman.
Now i see it as a power play.
I got so much control over these woman that i can earn money of there bodies and mock lesser men for needing to pay for what i get for free.

All things in life is about power.
Either having it or seeking it.

In a way f95zone helped me learn more about myself.

I miss the much simpler days in which I just didn't know what NTR meant, nor what some people think NTR means, nor why every single game should be properly tagged to avoid hords of angry people lashing devs because said game has/hasn't the right tag or the right content. I think tags have done way more harm than good, and thanks to them and the way they are used and perceived on this site I have definitely lost my faith in people's maturity and common sense regarding those games.

For me it has largely been the opposite to be honest. M&F isn't a good example because they started out as thieves themselves (F-Series anyone?) but the "higher quality" leaves much to be desired. Especially since I already knew RPGM porn e.g. Legend of Queen Opala except hongfire was more troublesome for translations of Japanese RPGM stuff.

Mind you I wouldn't say things were better back then, new games were much rarer for a start, but the games I enjoy from here tend to be in the same styles as those old Flash or RPGM games just with more variety or polish.

Of course since tags back then were laughable at best I know not to rely on them and the evolution of my interests is tied to other things. Well that and booru+e-hentai's tagging systems put F95's to shame before I even found this site.

I don't think my tolerance of tags has significantly changed, but I do think what I tolerate in game design has. I still feel hostile to visual novels, for example, but I've come to accept that a certain minimal level of gameplay and Western-style rather than anime-style graphics can overcome that initial distaste and even result in my overt enjoyment of the games. I have also become less tolerant of Honey Select or other software that significantly limits the range of images available without also increasing image quality/realism (using real images of porn stars leans on the latter part and can be not just okay but actively good, depending on usage in certain games).

Further, I feel like I'm much less willing now than I was a decade ago to give a new dev a shot based on their elevator pitch alone. "Character creation" in particular now tends to be a sign to me that a game is highly compromised in terms of its narrative vision rather than open and freeform, and I tend to assume that the bigger a dev's ambitions the more they will fail to make something I even want to play. That, I find, can happen even with talented devs who just get too far up their own asshole in terms of their vision to the point where they refuse to accept any criticism whatsoever.

out of boredom i'll reply here as well on topic.
After all i'd say F95 made me more intolerant in one way and just more tolerant in one other way. The tolerance grew towards Manga / Anime. The thought to get off to comics was prime cringe for me. That changed a little (but there are not really many GOOD artists.... and the main problem still is: they are good at bodies but ruin it with the stupid giant-eyed faces.... but whatever)
Things i didn't paid much attention before i really began to hate with a passion. I wasn't aware that this disgusting things were quite mainstream here in the bubble. Things i considered quite niche are rather big instead... that baffles me.
i grew to hate incest... really. wasn't aware of that plenty motherfuckers and rapedaddies.
-- what i hate most about the inbreeders is, that they demand to put their filth in every fuckin game.
i grew to hate pregnancy... i hate fat women.... and i even more hate sexy women turning ugly. Wasn't aware it's that big
i ALWAYS hated pedophilia... but that hate got a passion-boost here. "Shota/Loli" content... excused with bullshit explanations ---
i could vomit right away at the thought how well recived it seems to be. I am aware that it is fiction! But the thougt of people getting off on the depiction of minors having sex or getting raped just sickens me to the core.

But after all i am really glad i landed here. Life would be less fun and really boring without a daily dose of anger, disgust and cringe ;)

I don't think my tolerance of tags has significantly changed, but I do think what I tolerate in game design has.
I think for the most part the things you're attracted to are set in stone, you just might not know about some of them if you haven't seen it before. A straight guy is not going to learn to like gay content for instance. Just not going to happen. A guy who thought he was straight but was actually bisexual might discover that he's bi when he sees gay content for the first time though.

A lesbian is probably never going to learn to like games where every sex scene includes a blowjob. Maybe I've never seen a titjob before and after seeing one for the first time decide it's the best thing ever. I didn't learn to like it, I just got exposed to something I already liked without knowing it.

I think girls are more open to taking a few pitches from the "wrong team" than guys are but I'm a guy so what do I know? I do know I've heard plenty of women talk about going through a "phase" where they had some fun with girls. Straight guys don't do that. Bisexual guys might decide to stick to 1 or the other after trying both, but I'm never going to be tempted to try some dick.

I don't know how credible the study was, but I remember reading about an experiment where they took a bunch of men and women, hooked them up to some kind of apparatus that measures arousal, and showed them pics and/or videos of both men and women in sex scenes. They asked them which scenes they found arousing and also measured their arousal through the stuff they were hooked up to.

For the guys, their actual arousal matched what they said they were aroused by. Straight guys were aroused by girls. Gay guys were aroused by guys, etc. For the women, what they said they were aroused by did not match their actual arousal. Girls were aroused by both men and women whether they were straight, lesbian, or bisexual.

The theory was that this was a survival mechanism for women since back in the cave man days it was probably common for them to be forced into sex. So if they saw sex happening they get aroused in preparation for the R word. Doesn't mean they wanted it, just that their body prepared for it.

Nothing changed for me, i was a degenerate long before i found this site, e621 opened the whole world of fetishes for me to discover. And i also believe tagging system of the booru sites like e6 is best, tho i'm not sure if user moderated tagging system would be any good in this website, but it would be cool if it was like that, since there is a lot of tags that are just simply non existent on this site.

I don't think too much changed. I still prefer dicks and guys. And dislike shota/loli.

Well, except for kinks I never thought that exist, for example mind control (or hypnosis), snowballing, cumplay in general, etc... maybe I added a few kinks to the list.
