Unity - Completed - Womens Defence [Circle King]

    Loro

    Gameplay:
+ Supposed to be some kind of tower defence
    - Feels chunky and made as simple as possible
    - Waves feel kind of slow
    - Main purpose is to get defeated to get scenes
    - Kind of a left-right sidescroller TowerDefence (TD), which doesn't really gives the feeling of tower defence.
    - Winning is not rewarding. This game is made to lose, and then win to progress. Unnecessary grind

    Frequency of scenes:
    - Scenes on defeat.

    Dialogues:
+/- Not real text, as far as I remember. Not sure if this is good or bad based on the inconvenient gameplay.

--> All in one: I usually like tower defence games. But this one doesn't feel like one. Sidescroller TD games don't feel right. Adult scenes are based on defeat. So, it is an anti-rewarding game. 1 of 10.

Info: Then again, I read in a review that the version here on F95 was not updated for a long time. The most recent version of this game is apparently more polished with alot more content. But it gives a negative impression, when the NSFW version "Womens Defence" is in an outdated state and still sold, while the SFW version "Girls Defence" is more polished with more content. Calling the first one NSFW version is not right, when there is so much content difference. At this point, I will see both versions as different games, and the NSFW game called "Womens Defence" is bad.

I'm going to give this 4 stars. because the version on this site is a massively outdated demo. it doesn't even link the Itch.io page for it either since it hasn't been updated since 2018 when the game was released Apr 01, 2021

the actual version has a more polished story mode, more art, more girls, more enemies, side missions even shops. the only downside being the dialog is still poorly written. story is simple like you'd expect. ,but it does have one.

i would strongly suggest not playing this half baked version and buying it on itch.io instead
    it is called girls defence

since the other reviews are only based on the version on this site. they can't be taken into consideration.
you can also find the more updated version in videos.

Time for a review of Womens Defence.

This is a sort of Tower Defense game, but then not really. I won't even bother with the story, it's just incredibly bad - even for a porn game. You could argue that the story isn't really central to this game, and you'd be right. If only they made the Tower Defense part of the game good then.

In terms of H content, I wouldn't really know. I didn't lose a lot of girls, and when I did it was mostly to dogs. It wasn't very exciting.

The game revolves around you placing soldiers who just so happens to be not very dressed women. They come in 4 categories; Gunner (pistol), Grenadier - flak/grenade thrower, Sniper, and flame thrower. It's a decent variation. Though, you will quickly realize that combining them is actually the worst strategy ever. Instead you should only hire gunners as they can do the job better than any of the other units.

Sure, that makes the game boring. But the game is extremely poorly balanced. Put that on top a system where it is hard to tell what lane you put your soldiers in, and you got a pretty bad game. Then, if an enemy finally reaches your lines, then you can't do anything to help the girl who has been caught. And since you place your units close together / in a line, the enemy will quickly just go from one unit to another and clearing the line.

If that wasn't all, the game literally only provides any H scenes if you lose. Like you don't even unlock the gallery after completion.
I can really not recommend this game.

    The Good
    • I've got nothing good to say about this game.

    The In-between
    • The Girls are well made and good to look at.
    The Bad:
    • Very poorly balanced.
    • It's hard to see where the "lanes" are.
    • Doesn't unlock gallery after completion.
    • No story worth mentioning.
    • You don't need all the units, just use the gunner.

The art in this game is pretty good - and I regret to say, it's also the only thing that's actually good about this game.

The plot and gameplay are passable. Gameplay-wise, it's a mix of tower defense and run & gun. Story-wise, it's just a throwaway plot about how a nuclear disaster turned all men into zombies and mutant monsters while leaving the women to fend for themselves.

But as a program, the game is really leaving things to be desired...

The optimization is just ridiculously bad. Seriously, it's a mess. There's a buggy, memory-hogging 3D engine that's much more extensive than what the game actually uses or needs. The game's assets folder is a whopping 3.5 gigabyte, even though I've seen similar games that were only a few hundred megabyte and still managed to have more in-game content.

The whole thing runs horribly, too. As in, think of Internet Explorer. It's that bad. Though to be fair, I didn't run into serious bugs in most of the levels. Only the final boss was actually buggy for me.

The translation is also nothing to write home about. Even though it's not mentioned in the description, it's a rather obvious machine translation. It even has obvious MTL errors like mixing up object and subject, and occasionally referring to female characters with he/him pronouns.

The game does have voice acting, which is a nice touch. The background music is kinda forgettable, but it's not bad.

Fortunately, this game comes with a lot of cheats, so you won't have to torture yourself with its bugs and excessively long loading times in order to unlock all of the gallery.

I'm only giving 3 stars because I really like the art and character design. Otherwise, this one would have been lucky to get 2. If monster rape art is your thing, go for it. But even then, you can probably do better stuff with the 3.5 GB that this game will gobble up.

    Woman Defense - action - monster r*pe - harem.
    art- 5.5 sound- 6.0 kinks- 8 polish- 8 gameplay-3 average 6.0
    Censored - very yes.

TLDR; if you really like zombie attacks with light tower defense game play, it's OK.

    6.0 / 10

Nice premise, but sadly VERY poor execution.
Shame, as a ryona game, it was promising.
Just another game in sea of mediocre ryona games.
Why do so many of such games look like someone got bored halfway through scene planning?
ACT games have great art, but I can't recall any of them being great, decent at best, and this one is not even that.

Basically a boring 2D tower defense game with girls

    Gameplay:
The gameplay itself is just poor. It is not hard, but it is frustrating as girls can only shoot straight thus zombies that go a bit to the top of the screen or the bottom are annoying to take care of.

    CG:
Hard to get as you have to purposely lose with RNG as you have assaulted multiple time by the same enemies to see all variation. Also, in my opinion, the animation is just not that great. I had better time fapping to the CG rather than the animation.

The only reason that I gave it 3 stars is because there is ingame cheat code to unlock the whole gallery. The rest is not really worth it.
