Well what can I say. I am truly overwhelmed by the amount of story content. I noted some other reviewers being disappointed with the artwork to story narrative ratio (ie. too much story). Frankly I don't understand what the rush is to get new images. The story is the real gem. Its well written, edited, and has a thought out path. The images are good quality and fully compliment the story.
Overall, one of the best VN's on F95!

This review is based on v1.0, up to chapter 4, part 3.

There's some lore here, the possibility of a story, but they are stopped in their tracks by the writing.

Pacing: The story on the angel side takes hours to progress beyond "The princess and her maid are escaping, btw they lust for each other". The running away makes one expect some sense of urgency. There is none, as the writer delights in flashbacks instead of progressing the story.

A subplot about the main character niece being manipulated by her mother is put aside in favor of more of the same in angel-land and the main character going to bed. The demonic character is more engaging and actually offers condensed lore.

Graphics: The renders use a constant soft gray lightning that makes every scene looks dull. The portraits near the textbox however are lit with direct sunlight. Textbox portraits also look high in their neutral expression.
The camera often puts a lot of the scene's details behind the textbox. The models have jarringly inconsistent polygon counts. A lot of clothing of the main cast doesn't cast any shadow or occlusion. The more custom assets (eg clothing on the angel side) have a low texture resolution that clashes with everything else.

Writing: There's a lot of it. It is bad.
    - the author's style could be defined as bragging that he can open a thesaurus every second word.
    - scenes are lengthy.
    - a single statement by a character is split in nonsensical way for a VN. A worse offender was ("Rihanna" portrait being shown, no change in the graphics for the 3 screens, the person she's talking to for 20 screens is her sister):
    1) "You're deluded, dear sister."
    2) Rihanna told her sister.
    3) "You've very little understanding of mankind if you think they will so willingly bend their knee and accept servitude."
...and so on, ad nauseam for each of the 2 character.

Great story and artwork! Not sure how decisions will affect the protagonist's character, but looking forward to another playthrough using the daughter arc. A mostly serious game, but a author does inject comedic relief.

It was easy for me to give W.C. 5 stars. If I could do more, I'd give it a 7 out of 10 if I could. The potential for years more of updates is truly there, and that's a big part of why I'd give it more stars.

WC is probably one of the best written VN's that I've come across. I didn't catch any typos, and the grammar used is spot on. The renders are beautifully well done, and look crisp & clean. Time between clicks is fast, and don't lag like some VN's can. The Devs also did their fact checking, and I highly recommend looking at the extra content they offer on the VN's 1st page. The attention to details really make this a step above most.

Now, onto the story. I love that you've got a "Modern" and a "Fantasy" feel to it. You make choices from more than just the MC himself. I like it when VN's allow you to do this, because it gets you more into the game, and you have more say as to what happens. It becomes less linear that way, and I love the uniqueness. And the changing from modern to fantasy is obvious, and makes sense when they occur. And with your choices being numerous, you can truly play it twice and not have the same results unless you make the exact same choices (But why would you? lol).

So if you want a VN that is detail oriented, well written, offers a unique setting, and is superbly put together...give it a try. I can almost 100% guarantee you that you'd not be disappointed.

Just finished this, and I absolutey CANNOT wait for the next chapters! I've played a few of the games on here, and as much as I love to see sex (who doesnt?) this is a game/visual novel that has such a compelling storyline, that you just want to sit and read, and figure out what happens next.

One of the more in depth stories i've read and one that had me hooked.

It's one of a few VN's that I read as they aren't generally my thing, i'm more of an RPG gal but on occasion a story comes along with great characters and it forces me to read it.

I believe this is what you could call an introduction to the world and the characters. The MC's rises to power as the anti christ and the stage is set for the future.

This is how you build a world. We got the back story as to what is going on, who the factions are and why things are happening.

There is an upcoming story to explain what happens to one of the characters who paved the way for his punishment and will probably build up a few other side characters and how they fit in with the MC going forward ... see what I mean about in depth.

The anti christ isn't the only main character, there is also the princess and he side kick/bodyguard/potential lover.

That's the part that interests me most. It's been said we can push the game to give certain outcomes romantically (assuming they survive). It suited me because I like how a few of the people paired up and want to push for that but we'll see how that goes on. There is a war coming up and I don't think everyone will make it out alive.

Very interesting game. Main aspect that i really liked is the story. Well written and the characters well put. Looking forward for for the continuation of the story in the next release . Definitely worth it

I loved every minute of this great game and am REALLY looking forward to more games in the series, awesome work!
(I wish I had a bit more freedom to interact more with certain characters and less with others but I know it's VN understand and accept the limitations.)
Kinda have an idea of the amount of work involved in much smaller, less ambitious projects so my mind simply boggles imagining all the blood, sweat & tears that went into creating WC: Book One

    Thanks VERY much :)

I am but a simple creature. So, for those looking for an in depth look into the world of Wicked choices, I defer to higher authorites. I love a perspective that can use the basest of alchemy, and conjure gold of the lead of our known precepts. Of course, as an 'adult' site, the content is of what I would consider exceptional value. I came to this site (like many others :p) to fap. However, if the Wicked Choices were never to offer another fappable scene, I would still follow to see what would happen. For us calloused (?worn out both hands?) fappers who could deny Syrina as a goddess worthy of some worship?

-Art - multiply scenes are great for everything any would prefer - like so 9.9/10
-Story ... hmmm the story is real the great asset in this game you want to read more and more and you wait what is next 9.9/10
-Grammar at least I didn't found anything to catch my eye sure wasn't looking for spelling mistakes but there isn't something obvious wrong.
-Yes playability enough for the 1st chapter you want to check all the possibilities on the choices you have.
-I didn't came across with any bug :)
-And last content too little for what the story is letting you imagine Too Much for just the 1st chapter if we could compare it with a book, usually the first chapter is the introduction of the world - story - characters :D

p.s. anxious in waiting the next chapter and after the next and the next .. till the end of the book :p

    Regardie

Wicked Choices Book 1 is an excellent start in what I hope will be an outstanding series of games. @ASLPro3D has created a world like our own, but with some unique differences that offer one possible explanation for how we got to where we are now. Be warned there are minor spoilers ahead!

The main character starts as a middle aged man who has been shielded by his wife’s family from the world that the family inhabits that has featured incest between fathers and daughters, mothers and sons, and brothers and sisters, for centuries. The incest was used as a form of protection from the outside world as the family was charged with protecting an ancient relic from an unknown religion centuries ago.

The game follows the MC on his journey of discovery that the world as he knows it is not quite what it seems and he has been given an important role in shaping the future of the Earth.

It takes some time for the MC to embrace his destiny and there are multiple places where the player can go off the path and “lose”. That being said, it is not completely linear, there are opportunities to tailor the MC’s responses to setup the future games and how the player envisions the role of the MC.

There is also a section of the game where the player is introduced to two alien races and a need to play a princess from one of those races with the MC nowhere in sight. Once again, the player’s choices have meaning and can lead somewhere unfortunate in the later games.

Wicked Choices Book 1 continues this way switching between the main characters and the worlds they live in.

By it’s nature, Wicked Choices Book 1 needs some time to set up the back story and lay out those different worlds and plays more like a visual novel than an RPG. There is a lot of information given out, particularly in Chapter 4 where we learn a lot about the two races that have been battling each other for many centuries and are now using the humans on Earth to wage a proxy war. For spacefaring races, there is very little advanced technology on display, instead they focus more on magical abilities, and not in the Arthur C. Clarke way. So far, it does not look like they have technology backing up their magic. The worlds they have chosen to inhabit are medieval in nature, always tinged with the magic that seems to be part of their beings.

There are some sexy times with the MC and a couple young women and some lesbian action with the alien princess. There is also some implied NTR with the MC’s wife, some implied beastiality, and a rape scene that is necessary to advance the plot.

It is one of the best RenPy games that I have played. It makes good use of the game engine and a unique split screen system is in place to display the renders. The interface looks good and works well. Even so, I did install the interface mod to change the color of the text and replace the text box with a darker, more transparent box.

The reason I wanted the new text box was to see the renders better as the images in the game are outstanding. If you are familiar with Victoria 4, you will feel at home with the models as they all seem based on that generation of 3D figures. That’s okay as there are plenty of assets available for the models now and the characters don’t look like any you have seen in another game. The environments are nicely put together and there is variety in the clothing choices. The aliens in particular have chosen to wear less clothes that are more revealing than your standard Daz3D clothing. The nighttime scenes are properly lit and I never thought an image was too dark to see the details that were important to the story.

Once you have picked your route through the game, I recommend a few alternate paths be played as there are gorgeous renders and some surprising scenes on the “bad” paths as well.

Some of the drawbacks: the game doesn’t give immediate feedback on the results of choices so often you need to play through a section a few times to choose the best path. It is easy enough with RenPy’s skip function but none of the game variables are revealed to the player without console hacks. @ASLPro3D has stated that the game should play like real life, where there is no popup stat increase box when you make a decision, but wouldn't that be nice in real life too. I don't need constant feedback, but the game lacks any feedback at all so you are basically flying blind, which we know is a bad idea.

Another is during the MC’s power up scene where some of the paths lead to sections of dialog that seems perfectly acceptable in most adult games, things like "pack your daughter's mouth with some dick meat", "Not to disappoint her craving snatch of the baby-making juice it desired", "into Miriam's babymaker", and "stuffing her Mistress's ass with cockmeat", but seem out of place for the MC to think or say at that point in time no matter how depraved the player plans on making the MC later.

Then there is the section that leads to the setup of the next game in the series, which is actually a side story to the main game called "Adventures of a Changed Boy". The MC suddenly has powers that he never anticipated ever having, and he naturally knows exactly how to use them. And there is no option not to use them in that way.

Lastly, it's good that it is a RenPy game as you can have lots of saves as there is no gallery system in place to allow the player to replay sexy scenes, and potentially keep track of scenes you might have missed. It is the only real oversight in an otherwise excellent game.

But like every good Saturday matinée serial, the game ends on a cliffhanger that leaves you wanting more and I am eagerly awaiting whatever @ASLPro3D has for us in the next installment in the world of Wicked Choices.

Wicked Choices Book 1 is one of the best game I ever played!
The Book 1 stops when things start to get intersting but the Incest/forcedbutconsented with the story is just great!
I can only recomend to try this one! :D

I'm giving this a 4/5 for various reason.

Lets start with what is good here.

The story, as told so far, is very well done. The concept is nothing like what reading the foreword of the game would lead you to believe you were going to play. You expect to be playing some massively evil guy being that he is the "antichrist" but it's quite the opposite. In fact it turns religion on it's head and retells the ideas you think you know. The characters are engaging, you feel for Claire and her life when you see the reality of her situation. Also the love that Carina and Lynara have for each other that takes forever for one of them to say is just beautiful if you play it out in the church scene.

    The suck:
It's short. Book One is not short in length in terms of content, but it's extremely short in the actual events that take place. Conversations seem to take hours and almost NOTHING happens in this part of the story. The place the game ends is almost exactly where the game would finally actually get going and then it's over.

Then I went to see if the Dev is working on the next part, and I find out they're working on a side story about the consequences of what you did to your nephew. So now I have to sit through probably a year or more of development on that before he even begins working on the continuation of the main story? Side story are for when your main stories are complete so you can keep your fans happy for "extra content."

One last thing. This game had my former graphic arts teacher screaming in my head the entire time.

    DO
    NOT
    USE
    COMIC
    SANS
    FOR
    ANYTHING!!!

I have been following @ASLPro3D since his beginning. This game is not your classic "porn" game with a "story"

This game is not for people who:
-Want a quick fap to some hot-scene where you can easily get a quick satisfaction, wipe off and then go do whatever you were doing before?
-Want to read as little text as possible with clear options on how to get the "goodies"
-Need a walkthrough in order to min/max the choices to see most of the sex-scene
-Wants update every 2 weeks to fap too and then forget about it

Still reading? Great! That means this game might be something you like.

    What this game is:
-A complex and well thought universe of characters and choices
-A story with many choices that have big impacts on the game and on the different characters
-A game done in various tome and side stories that all relate to each other (Marvel MCU style in a way).
-Well defined characters with a personality, back-story, motivation and a way to make them evolve, to corrupt them (or not).
-A game where you will hate & love some characters. A game that you will care for the story as much as you will want to see the next sex scene... Like Game of Thrones...

But will I fap to it dude?
Book 1 has a few "fappable" scene with a great ending for that. Adventure of a Changed Boy (what ASLPro3D is working on at the moment) will have more of those.

Personally, I think this game is very very worthwhile. It brings quality of render, story, and choices. Plus, the dev is close to the community.

Great story, great graphics. A very immersive experience, the story draws you in with each passing moment. The only detractor was the fact that the wife didn't get what she deserved in the end of the story.

Outstanding artwork, and writing. The creativity and originality of the story line and the use of religious history was awesome. Would have loved a sex scene with Syrina, but can wait to see one in the future, if it is to be. It was a great read too, definitely re-playable, as I had to re-start due to reloading windows on my PC, it was very enjoyable the second, and third time through.

I'm going to go so far as to say that this is overall the best game on F95. The CG is excellent, the scenes are some of the hottest in any game, and the writing is among the best. This is a branching choice & consequence type game and your decisions really do change how things develop. This game straddles the path between the hardass dominant protagonist doing what he wants and more romantic elements, so if you like either of those types you'll find something to enjoy here. Warning though that one of the scenes is quite morally troubling.

    Game version: [v1.0.1]

I'm not usually into games with a supernatural or science fiction element, but this one does it pretty well. The game is a little light on sexy time content, but what there is is hot. This is the game for people who ever wanted to molest a tiny fairy. Though that should have gone further. More fairy molestation content, dev.

I really enjoyed this game and it is very well done and polished!

    Pros:
    - Excellent graphics and renders
    - Great story which is unique and engaging
    - Great plot and balance (good stuff, bad stuff happening to the player)
    - Great characters who are unique and interesting
    - Very polished game
    - I highly recommend this game!

    Cons:
    - Game needs more freedom and choices - it feels like you are being carried through the story the whole game
    - Needs more sex scenes and opportunities for sex
    - There is too much going on with too many characters that it is going to be near impossible to complete the saga / story (the game tries to do too much).
    - Game needs some kind of progression element or stat system so it doesn't just feel like you are reading a book. A few RPG elements would be very welcomed.

Despite the cons, the game is awesome and I highly recommend it! The great story and unique characters make up for it's shortcomings.
