Why is the main games subforum thread ordered by first message?

I'm not sure where to ask that's why I'm posting it here, but I'm talking about this page: https://f95zone.to/forums/games.2/

All the other main thread pages on the site are (by default) ordered by the date of the most recent reply to the thread right?

But the default of this one is ordered by the dade of the first post (aka the OP), meaning that the 1st results are of new threads regardless of the replies... why is that?

To show newer games first, of course.

Imagine posting a game that took you 3-4 months of effort, and that it gets overshadowed by some random game made two years ago. Makes sense, right? It's better to see new games on top rather that just seeing the same thread getting bumped over and over because of new replies.
