Why don't sex games ever come with autosave?

I just got done playing two hours of one and the game froze my computer up--I had to do a forced shut down just to clear it. Now I have to waste time doing those two hours all over again. Why is such a basic feature always missing from these?

Was it a renpy game? By default it should make an auotsave every choice, but other than that you've got to manually save.

Actually, I'm just an idiot. The save page has its pages rowed out with an A and Q at the beginning. The A is for the autosave. I can't begin to say how relieved I am to see this!
