Agree.In addition, do not forget that Steam may allow this, Patreon can still ban you for a *different* version on Steam. Otherwise, Ocean, like other developers, would not play the game *an unknown person posted some patch here*, but would calmly add on their Discord.
PS: The funny thing is that Patreon's rules state that fictional plot elements depicting incest and related to a larger work (for example, Game of Thrones) can be allowed
. I'm just sure that if someone decided to create an avn, then he would have been banned for even a tenth part of the GoT plot. One character like Ramsay Bolton would be enough for a ban.

I know, the hypocrisy is astounding and the rules likely only get enforced against the small fish. Add to that the fact that any third party can change their policy at any time. PS - I'm honestly surprised it took this long for Patreon to move against WIAB. Any person with an internet connection and Google could establish the truth about the WIAB plot, it's history, and the game add-on that can't be named (including the author of that add-on), with most of the evidence appearing in this very forum.

Risk? What risk? Do you know the game summertime saga? If ocean would have made the amount of money like summertime saga is, he wouldnt have to deal with this problem now. Summertime Saga isnt even hiding the incest and doesnt get bothered by patreon, cause they earn a lot out of it too... WiaB was simply not big enough, someone reported it, and so patreon got rid of it... thats it.

You can still pay at all those sites with CC's. If it was really credit compainies why would they still let you use their cards to pay for porn?
What risk? You answered your own question, Is WIAB as big as SS? No! So, there was/is risk and that's how it played out.

You should just read the updated article, it has more up-to-date information and also has bits about MasterCard also denying it.
Considering Itch.io pointed fingers at PayPal, SS doesn't use PayPal, many sites that deal with porn don't use PayPal and only CC, one can draw a pretty strong conclusion what is going on.

Looks like it's going ot finally happen, Patreon doesn't want adult content on its platform and slowly purging it and changing the rules.It's no wonder why so many dev's Patreon accounts have been removed of late even while being in the good with Patreon's guidelines with their content. It would not surprise me if you see a lot more Patreon accounts nuked in the coming days/weeks.

I have already raised this question. I see a couple of options here. Ocean could have made a mistake, instead of you, write two. Another option is that he talks about the loss of William and Joe in prison. Well, option 3 is guesses that they could have had children/Helen could be pregnant.

As I said, I recalled reading multiple news articles from over a decade ago that pointed the finger at pressure from cc companies, not just the Forbes article. My memory is likely faulty, but I also thought it had to do with advocacy groups applying pressure.
Kids? Could have been miscarriages or he is talking about Willy and Leia, they lost willy due to vanishing and in turn lost leia due to breaking down and never being the same person again.

I think the most likely thing was him saying losing two of their children at the same time ruined the relationship, they lost William (the MC) physically from him running away, but they also lost Leia mentally almost like she was a husk of a person, she was very distant hardly cared for anything and had to be held in a mental ward. She changed completely there after.
He simply doesn't want to push William away again by blaming the MC for ruining the relationship, so he cuts himself off. He's afraid of the MC running away again as most of the family is.
To further my line of thinking later on in the game when the MC and Dylan are talking in the auto shop, Dylan does open up about how awful it was for Leia, I don't have the game on me right now but he even says something along the lines of losing you both that day.
