woah....people REALLY like croft neechan....I mean she's hot but like...I wouldnt have expected her to be #1

For me, it probably goes like Aunt>/=celia=mom>yasmine>Caroline=suri/zuri>Judy>>>everybody else. It's....probably obvious where my bias lands....

I wouldn't have put aunt very high before since I normally don't like blondes but she's really well done. I got to see a lot of her this update and that body is AMAZING

The best thing about Croft is that for some reason the game like to put her in sexy idle poses whenver you talk to her. Not gonna lie, it's one of the best parts of this game

i trust you so ill tell my name John Viggiano when i was a kid for some reason apart with liking the name Monkey Mon i also like adding ster to different names which is why if i have the option name a female protagonist in a porn game i call her Stacster
oh boy, you are even more immature than me :closedtongue:
i couldn't add -ster to my real name... simply wouldn't fit at all.

50 and still do....

@WOMANpukumaru was stunned about croft neechan being number one, I guess it's some reference to Caroline, for me it's about vulnerabilities and so often in these games it seems the older sister is full of them, just gotta root about to find them.
Personality huh? Or circumstances

I guess older sisters tend to have "vulnerabilities" usually they're a bitch and you have to humiliate them into fucking you which I don't really like all that much. I quite liked croft neechan being cool and sweet

Personality wise i think she just might be near the top since honestly, a lot of the girls in this game are kind of mediocre personality wise. Not necessarily bad characters but like nothng that sticks out....honestly I'm not into sara much, but her personality ends up being cute/quirky. Aunt is kind of cute too. Caroline is definitely top 3

Bit confused here, sorry

Not sure what this is a reference to.
But doesn't circumstance drive personality? A shit will be a shit regardless of circumstance, just a different type of shit. They will have different levels and reasoning to be shits.
Of the family we have met, Caroline seems to have the most depth at the moment. Though I think there's a lot to come from both Mum and Auntie. And sitting here typing, maybe it's the peeling back of layers that is the interesting part.

Nahhh the bitch part is often just cover. "I have this weakness, but as I'm older I can put on the bitch front and people wont think it's anything more than just a big sister bullying younger siblings." Not crazy on the humiliating part, would prefer to help rebuild their walls (if Liz is watching she'll know what I'm on about - personal reference).
And again, sorry, not being obtuse, but still no idea what the reference to croft neechan is.

Violet could have been an interesting character (and possibly still could be), but because of the theft she's got a long way to go to redeem herself.

these forums are weird, they appear to be based around weg but they use japanese terms like loli shota netorare. I kind of figured basic weeb terms would be understood but....hmm anyway neechan/nee-chan just means older sister and she looks like lara croft from the tomb raider remake

Speaking of weeb terms there's a name for the character type you're describing called "tsundere" they basically act the way you describe, covering their insecurities basically trying to fool people with "bitch" behavior. I don't tend to like them unless they're done extremely well. Or maybe I prefer a different type. I don't like characters who take out their insecurities by punishing others while not being honest(So that part of carolines story annoyed me)

when it comes to circumstances and personality well, there are some people who are a certain way just because of circumstances made them that way. I was just talking about vulnerabilities and whether they are caused by things like her going out of business or just her own insecurities. It seems you're interested in her

Anyway....whether someone acts like a bitch or actually is one is usually pointless since its a behavior as well as an attitude. A lot of people who act bitchy are doing it to cover insecurities doesn't really get them off the hook for the way they act...in fact many people use such an excuse in real life which kind of makes me hate them more. Honestly people who are really just spiteful assholes have more respect from me, because people who use bitchiness as a facade are usually some hypocritical irresponsible mothafuckas that are way closer to their "personas" than they realize. Either way, thats real life...in games or shows or whatever you know they want the D and everything they do is to cover up the fact that they want the D. It's easier to deal with, kind of boring. still.

the peeling back of layers is interesting, but due to what is described above, that doesn't automatically make something more interesting

usually the only layer is "i'm acting like a bitch to you" usually there's very little depth beyond that other than "I don't want people to realize I want to fuck my brother/am submissive, also I'm a teenager" I mean there's a lot of potential depth but most writers don't even bother even with obvious stuff.

Caroline definitely has more depth here and she basically ended up doing the whole " big sister acting like a bitch" thing this update. Anyway yeah she's probably the most developed character in the game(she doesn't have much competition) I'd make a bet that she is the creators favorite character too. They seem to give her a lot of attention

and yeah, Aunt's story really brought out some depth in mom too. I REALLY liked this storyline a LOT.

Ahhh it was the missing 'O' (onee chan) and the Western setting that threw me off. I'm that new to Japanese terms that outside of a direct context or the spelling I know, chances are I'll miss them. Putting it with Croft meant I never stood a chance :)

A lot of it is, as you say, real life. Maybe it's a thick skin, maybe I'm stubborn, maybe I'm just bloody nosey, I don't know but if I can see more and think it's appropriate, I like to dig and have made some really close friendships this way.
But I agree, to see a dev doing it, is often painful and 2 dimensional. Where I disagree is I didn't see what Caroline was doing in in V03 as bitchy, but someone struggling with an internal conflict between her emotions and pressure from societal norms, what wasn't nice about what she was doing was not taking into consideration the MC's feelings. Good job I'm a persistent and patient sibling ;)

Icstor is weaving an interesting web...
And it's been enjoyable discussing this too.
