Not *
technically* abandoned by f95zone standards, but
Polarity hasn't received an update in around a year and a half now (maybe longer?), as the dev's been working on his other game (Radiant) instead. To the best of my knowledge he also hasn't said a peep about it for a while. I might be wrong though. There
are some murmurs floating around saying that he's finally returned to working on another update, but I'm after all this time I'm a bit skeptical about it.
Will second the mention for
Love and Submission.
It had a decent start to it along with a cool paranormal/vampire plot line slowly starting to take shape. But then shortly after the MC finds out things aren't quite normal in town the game is ends because the dev pulled a Houdini and vanished.
Honorable mention for
Sugar County as well. May not have been super popular, but it was a decent enough game that was starting to hit it's stride. Then some financial difficulties and a major hardware failure resulting in the dev losing all the character models and game files ended it.
