Hate that .9 has come to mean .0.0.9 for a lot of the games on this site
Nah that's dumb users assuming it was a percentage instead of a version number.

Why didn't anyone update the game version to at least 0.10.0 during this time? So... yeah, they're new version, u can download in itch

Id assume its because whoever is updating this is updating it with the public version, which is a version behind, and not the patreon version.
Im tempted to download it just to see the new art, but it looks like basically nothing was added, so not worth.

It's blight of amateur developers who think that just because there isn't a 'right way' cop pointing a gun at their head all the time, it's okay to throw away best practices or ignore the reason why industries do things a certain way and strive to make that way more efficient.
But eh, I'd rather that than wilful corruption, like how betas are now really just marketing demos shielded by the ability to say "well duh it's just a beta, no wonder everything is broken and the game sucks, please ignore that it's only 3 days long and the game comes out right after and everything carries over, go ahead and preorder that $200 supremo edition that lets you get back all the content we cut out on purpose, kthxbye."

I had the same error. sounds kind of dumb but change the name of your main char. noticed that if you don't type in any last name, it gets set to 'True' and.. that appears to be triggering the error.

I had the same problem. You have to download it again using another link. Do not use Mega.
