Hi!

As per thread title, just wanted to share with the community as well as get some feedback.

Right now, me(artist) and HeroNameSir(writer and interim programmer) are slowly working on the demo and get it out there.

I draw inspiration from zombie games, shows and movies I binged over the years, and especially over the recent lock downs.
I'll list some of my favorite games: Left 4 dead 1 and 2, resident evil 1, 2 and 7, Dead Island, house of the dead,
shows: Zombieland, kingdom, train to busan, world war z, #alive, 28 days later, planet terror, night of the living dead(and other George Romero stuff), shaun of the dead

There is no title to this game yet, so we go by "untitled zombie game". It's set in a world where you find yourself trapped in an apartment complex during a zombie pandemic, You try to help and gather survivors and depending on your interactions, make friends or enemies, and more. There is an element of resource management whereby you need to gather certain resources to survive, and depending on how much some survivors like you, you may get some help in that aspect. Of course, the experience wouldn't be complete without some explicit scenes. Look forward to those

There is no patreon right now, but hopefully we can get one started as soon as the demo is ready!

Planned kinks?
Can you play as a bad guy?
Like, how about the protag wants to turn that whole apartment complex into his little empire, with blackjack and hookers? :sneaky::coffee:
Also i don't like how the mc looks, should be manlier and beefier. Maybe give him a nice little beard too.
Playing as yet another teenager would be rather boring.

I would never tell someone not to follow their passions, I just kind of struggle to see the appeal of rotting zombies if you're trying to set a sexy mood. Can't the apocalypse be caused by solar flares or a giant tidal wave or the Sharknado extended universe?

And I'm with Void, the planned kinks and our potential in the world would be interesting to know. Will it be a harem game? Full on corruption and manipulation? An 'us vs the world' romance? I have no issues with the art, I don't much like it but it's not so offensive I couldn't enjoy it with a well crafted story supporting it.

I hope you live with your landlady ;). Redburns was a fun game in a cool setting, I like the the zombie theme. Good luck!

As long as the game needs less clicks to skip text, than to do some actions - it will be good in my opinion.

Maybe, if it was a virus that simply made people more and more agressive, while keeping them alive. It will remain a zombie game, but without walking dead zombies. More like walkig insane zombies, which gives more variety to them depending on infection stage. For example, recently infected people are still able to use weapons or open doors, but unable to tell friends from enemies.

hi! thanks for the comments, right now there are no clear plans to turn the complex into his empire, but i have plans to work in some sort of power struggle, so hopefully that might be interesting.

There are choices the mc can make that are definitely on the less moral side in contrast to the boy scout option, as to how villainous he can be, is still up in the air

as for how the mc looks, am sorry you feel that way, but i can assure you that the mc is no teenager, and definitely no wimp.

as for kinks, each character will have their own, we don't have a definite list, but we have a sizable starting roster of characters to start with.

thanks for taking an interest, we will try to nail down the kinks we plan to have. And yes corruption is part of the plan. And thanks, will do what we can crafting a story we can enjoy

thanks! Ah, unfortunately the mc is a grown up and lives on his own, but there are more experienced ladies in the complex though.

sounds like the zombies in the korean drama "Happiness" that sounds like a interesting take on the zombie genre

I agree. If that's your thing, great but personally I would swap out the zombies for something more appealing like maybe vampires. Vampires can be portrayed to be as gross as zombies but they can also take more of an Underworld or True Blood style where they essentially play as human superheroes. Now if the zombies will never be in any scene that's supposed to be naughty that would be different, but anything naughty is automatically ruined by having a zombie in it IMO.
