Well you may not find them interesting @brynhildr but I find that rance IX and X to be extremely good announcements.

In fact I didn't expect something this good!.

Seems that we will have to wait another year for - maybe - other good stuff.

In fact I didn't expect something this good!.

I expected they would announce at least Rance IX, but not X, since it's still too recent. However, given that Rance VI is probably their most profitable game and the Rance series is still the most requested thing in the MG's surveys, we shouldn't really be surprised.

I think the same as you, except Escalayer nothing interesting at all, I mean they will be an usual vn-slice of life with quite a boring setting.

Dude, it's a gameplay mahou shoujo AliceSoft eroge which uses sex as the main gameplay element.
Yeah, it has a slice of life, but it is far from being the focus. Not to mention the game has vanilla AND hardcore fetishes, vanilla AND evil routes, tons of bad endings and pretty cool villains. The content diversity, fantasy aspects and high sexual content the Beat games have should tell you they are neither slice of life vns nor they have a boring setting.
Now if you told me how the games' story and main characters usually lack depth, i'd agree with you. But hey, i play them mainly for the sexual content, Onigiri-kun artwork and the amusing script.

Well they aren't gonna take big risks, I would prefer if they got a few strategy games just saying, but it seems that their biggest partner is Alicesoft at the moment, the funny part is that Alicesoft is divided (mostly) between 2 sides, Rance and other RPG's and their NTR games. Kind of wonder if they will license a big NTR game.

On the other hand I would like if they licensed Daiakuji or Daiteikoku on the strategy side. Especially the first one I said because I truly want to play Daiakuji.

I'd love Daiakuji as well, but the game is too old. I think is better for MG work on other AliceSoft games, because i have a hunch Daiakuji will get a reboot some day, just like Escalayer.

Sometimes risks must be taken in order to see if people will like something or not. You can't just go only on the "safest route" because it's, well, safe. If nobody will ever try and buy something different from the usual titles that they share, then they'll never know if the western public will accept it gladly or not - at least this is what I would do. Just one title (example, Youkoso Sukebe Elf no Mori e) and see: if it's successful then I'll gladly take another one, if not then I'll give up and I'll keep publishing known titles.

Lots of people tried to go for the "dangerous" route and most of them got rewarded in the end, so this "fear" of not getting the income hoped it's completely silly.

So:
- Reign Of Succubus it's just the game that Technobrake released, that we have here as "Rule Of Succubus" name. So pretty pointless of them buying a license for a game that already have a decent english. Just for the uncensored CG's? Meh.
- Slave's Sword.. doesn't seem that much interesting.
- President Yukino it's just another Acerola game and even though I didn't mind Treasure Hunter Claire, I don't think that I'll play this, but maybe I could because of the NTR.
- Seed Of Evil I believe it's pretty much tentacles then everything else, so.. eh... another game that I'll not play.
- Aaaand Phantom Thief Celianna I have the funny feeling that it will be a pain in the ass to play with. Other than the fact that maybe it'will not be that worth. And it's another Acerola game (jesus).

If I had to compare all of the Acerola game between one another, Treasure Hunter Claire it's the only one interesting. And maybe even Kanade and the Ecchi Worklife. Other than that, titles that are not interesting at all. But people will buy them anyway, surely. Though I don't know how many for "Reign Of Succubus/Rule Of Succubus" since most of the user here already finished the game with all the possible endings.

There is a translation for Slave's Sword made by norzZ but i've never played it tho, and i'm 100% sure they knew about this so, why?
Seed Of Evil: tetacles? yes please.
Acerola games are... ok, but i wished that they picked something from Mijiishi or the newest game from Shinachiku-castella, i fucking love them.
