    v0.4.0
Feels like yet another TITS/COC2 clone. Only without the transformation items.
You customize your MC at char creation. And can modify some things later on in a bodysculpting shop.

The writting is better at least compared to tits/coc2.
You navigate a bunch of square rooms and face tons of random encounters with the occasional not random encounter.
If you lose you get raped. It is very easy to never lose though. Which is what I did.
If you win they beg you to fuck them and if your lust is over 30% you can.

There is actually a background picture for each map. Which is a massive huge improvement over TITS and its many clones who all give you featureless grey boxes in the maze.
Although you still need to read a whole lotta redundant text in each box you enter. They should have only used it to describe things that do not show up on the map.

    Combat is serviceable.
Mages suck, they are equally as strong as warriors, but require way more clicks to perform each basic attack, and also consume mana. I would have expected that to mean they are actually stronger but they aren't.
Play a chad warrior and evaporate all the enemies with his muscles and the basic attack.
Take a rogue dip to get the "always go first in combat" perk.

You are forced into this crafting system which is rather bland and very grindy.
Most mats cannot be purchased and must be grinded for. And that means hunting the right creature and hoping they drop the item.

Also your inventory capacity is pathetic. So you keep on needing to micro it.
And shopping is uncomfortable due to needing to drag.
Equipping items is also annoying because you need to drag them to the right slot. can't just double click or right click or drag anywhere on the paper doll, it has to be dragged all the way to the correct slot. Which is not always obvious.

Content is rather cliche, and there is not much of it.
A few maps, a few NPCs.
With catering to too many combinations which naturally slows down development.
Unless you are pansexual who is into men and women and futa you will find very little content.

If you are not a pansexual, you can opt out of fucking certain characters (unless you lost combat and got raped).
But its still gonna have lots of awkward moments. Like when my straight male MC is attacted by the cute boy, or by the cute "girlcock" of futa, or accidentally rubs against the cock of a male enemy and blushes. Things like that.
I really wish you could set strict sexuality for your character and have the game adjust itself to avoid such gaffaws.

Sex itself is mixed bag. 1 picture plus a massive wall of text.
Some of the NPCs are really good looking.

But the MC is this featureless purple blob thing meant to represent the fact that there are too many configurations for an MC and they can't be bothered to draw them all.
Would have been vastly better if they limited your body options a bit so they could actually draw the MC and some skin swaps for him/her.

Has potential, but needs some work.

It appears the developer has been doing a lot of overhauling as I can't find the previous complaints about this game as being valid anymore. The game is not difficult (actually it's rather too easy) so something must've changed. You are free to bone down enemies after battle (provided you have at least 30 lust) and there a good number of sexable NPCs. I enjoyed what little there is to explore, although I felt a little too strong at times.

It is true however that some content is patreon locked, particularly companion skins and half the playable races. This didn't bother me too much because I only ever play as a human. What race you play as is also fairly inconsequential. Scenes don't change and the race differences are minimal.

Besides the now lack of difficulty, the only thing I see as an eye sore in this game is the crafting system. It sucks and isn't even worth unlocking.

Overall pretty good and it seems to have been much improved over its past versions, but the overhaul has stifled the content a bit so you'll be getting a lot less than you'd expect from a game that started in 2017.

    v0.3.5
TLDR: The excellent writing and polished gameplay will only matter if you're (1) a furry who (2) likes to see your character raped. If you aren't into those two things this game won't do much for you.

The content in V&G is heavily text based, which makes sense considering the author's prose are superb. Great pacing, clever humor, and I did not spot any typos or grammatical errors.
The artwork is passable. Mostly in the form of portraits, the art supports the narrative and world-building, but is not a strength.

The "D&D Lite" gameplay is functional. The interface is comprehensible and often has tooltips, demonstrating solid UI design and care. I appreciated that the dog companion has his own AI and doesn't need me to manage him in combat.

It is unfortunate that I'm entirely uninterested in anthropomorphic animals and watching the main character get raped.

    Conclusion:
For me, V&G feels like a game form of Malicious Compliance.
"You want a D&D-like game with sex?
Fine: Build a character, explore the world, level up. Oh, but the characters are furries and the only fucking that happens is when you lose a fight... and it's your character getting ass fucked."

Not as bad as the reviews put it, not as good as it could be.

Very text-heavy, images are few but alright. The gameplay is not as harsh at is has been said, a full on straight-agility build will get you through the game flying.

Grindy, but not as grindy as other games that have been praised in a better way.

Worst parts I'd say were the crafting, the lack of "scenes", as you get hit by a wall of text during the sexy parts and one image and that's it, and maybe that the "gallery" straigh up does not work, it'll show you stuff you have not done and 90% of the stuff you actually do is not there.

And in all I do recommend it for a 2h playthrough. Don't expect more than that.

Looking at the rating I thought it was shit and I downloaded it off and on again, it has it's problems don't get me wrong. The biggest would be the grind for well money, if not for cheats this would be a pain in the ass to play.

Also the updates are more bugfixes than putting in actual more content as it feels like we should have gotten more than what we are playing. My rating is due to me playing with cheats and just soaking in the content which was good enough, in the end this game needs more content to make me even look at patreon to support it.

I played this one a while back , this game blew my back out , literally. Although I am afraid of forced gay sex on my pc , it is a consequence of loosing a battle which motivates you even more to not loose ! That said the combat system is veryyyyy deep especially for a porn game ! The visuals may not be everyones cup of tea but I like them , especially since to get to actuall consensual sex you have to actually git gud. There are also a lot of areas in the game , open fields , dark forests , farms , a sprawling city and caves and more ! This kind of variety really makes you want to explore and see the world around you and I just love it ! I love it so much in fact that I am willing to risk having my ass cheeks spread.

    reviewing v0.2.2
    (warning contains slight spoilers)

(the levelling) i've levelled up twice, increasing my strength and also crafted gear to increase my attack/defence, but stats seem to do very little, the strength stat does not increase damage dealt and the defence stat doesn't decrease damage received, there doesn't seem to be a reward for the grind.

(sex) I chose futanari, when you reach a certain amount of lust (about 30), you can sexually interact with an enemy after battle, but the options aren't specific enough, for example the Ratling enemy had Anal & Blowjob options, but no info on whether it is to give or receive, and on the slime girl enemy I had titjob, oral and fondle options, I chose oral and she licked my pussy, the sex scenes themselves are pretty good, but you may not get what you were hoping if you choose futanari as your gender.

    (Summary)
I like the core appeal of the game but there is something missing, the game needs a more rewarding progression which is reflected in combat, and better defined sex encounters when choosing the option. Other than that the game has potential but I won't be putting more time into the game while I feel my character is going nowhere no matter how much I level.

Very well written, if a bit text-heavy, and the combat and leveling systems are both fairly advanced, including different skill trees and stats, which allows for a broad range of customization options. Furthermore, this game has great art. I'm not usually into the furry stuff, but for this game I'm happy to make an exception.

This game breaks a cardinal rule of development. Nothing turns a player away more than having a playable Species locked behind a paywall. I fully understand that you have to encourage people to support your game financially somehow, but locking species behind paywalls is absolutely NOT how you do that. That being said, there is more wrong with this game than just that.

Simply put, it's visually just bad. I give full credit to the developer for making their own GUI, that's a fantastic step, but then they completely ruin it with their art. It's rude, yes, but some art is just not meant for a porn game. It looks low effort and crude; almost even dirty. The combat animations are a nice touch in the game, but are reminiscent of 2010 flash games on Newgrounds.

Games like Corruption of Champions and Trials in Tainted Space prove that it's okay not to have art for everything in your game right out the gate, and that you can, over time, add it in as you can afford proper artists. It's impressive that they have so much art already, but art of this caliber is more offputting than it is welcoming. When I first started the game and saw the character creator, I immediately wanted to just stop playing. It's not what I want to see with my genitals in mind.

Overall, poor monetization, worse art, and a decent GUI. Just not worth your time.

This game is very very poor.... His updates are shame... Another game with a huge patreon wall and nothing new... A text game with some arts, and nothing new...

I found this game give or take last year, back in the first public release, and found it... Okay. The fights were doable, if a little annoying, and the smut images where nice (the wall of text was still kinda meh). This was back when your character was just a faceless purple blob without appearance (like you see in the drawings). But now, having played V.1.10....

I feel like it's somehow worse.

Don't get me wrong, again, some of the smut is good, but now the enemies feel harder. "20% extra damage to unarmed"? Like hell! I was facing off against goo girls and felt like I was gently brushing their... Er... Hair? Not punching them! Not to mention, now there's group attacks, which is a headache in and of itself (and enemies that stun... Of all things, WHY add stunlocking enemies!?). Once you get really strong and find a dog companion, it gets a tad easier, but I shouldn't have to surrender or flee 16 times in 30 seconds because, GOD DAMN IT, I want to get to the farm, not get raped by cowgirls every bloody second!

This game is just... SO aggravating now! You skim the text out of frustration, you punch everything because Charm is a talent you can't afford to waste points on (Strength and Agility is everything), you can't even enjoy the smut because you become so focused on "Kill it! Kill it! Kill it!" that you stop thinking of it as a porn game. And then there's the "Deadly: YES!" enemies. I get it, you need threats, but a gang of boars who inflict bleed you can't run from at low levels? An stunlocking Orc woman who you'll accidentally run into when going to the smithy at night? Guards who are pissed you beat up their slave trading boss (who you can't shag, annoyingly...) who are working with bandits!? Not to mention, there's noticeable bugs (like not being able to turn in quests).

....I was excited when I saw an advert of this online and remembered I hadn't checked the updates in ages. Now? I honestly regret checking out the update. Cos all that awe and wonder of "How far has it come?" became anger and frustration within five minutes...

Seeing as the first and only review at this time is from 2017, I thought I'd say my piece (Version 0.19.2).

First off, I want to point out that there's hardly any content, despite having been out for for at least three years.

    Story: Nearly nonexistent
In the intro story, we're told the player character is somehow accused of murder and then robbed in the woods and dumped into a dungeon and left for dead. That's basically all the story so far. You escape the dungeon, go to the nearest tavern asking about the dudes who robbed you, at which you're told they haven't got a clue and you're pointed to check the nearest city, and that's it.
There aren't that many side quests or character interactions to justify it either. Even this wouldn't be so bad if not for the fact that the gameplay is so shoddy and the sex scenes available to you weren't so few. The sex scenes are alright. Just alright. Most characters and enemies will have one sex scene. They don't seem to change upon revisiting or raising affection (a mechanic which is only used for one NPC).

Gameplay: Must have been designed by a Sadist
If you were going in blind like I was, your first reaction to being dumped in a dungeon is probably utter panic and frustration. If you're unlucky, you'll have lost your first fight before you've left it. And if you were extremely unlucky like me, you won't have anything to fight with other than your fist for 10+ enemies, which means taking 10+ rounds to win a fight, which means taking a lot of damage. Asides from the potions which you can buy/make and a tent which has 4 uses before needing to be recharged, there's only ONE place in the entire game that serves as an inn, and it's only open for about 18 hours a day. You can't even passively wait. You have to shuffle back and forth and hope you don't get jumped. This means is that you'll need to be carrying consumables all times. Which is a problem, because items stack to a max of 5 and you only have like 20 inventory spaces until you can afford an upgrade, which only gives you another 5 more.

Game has a crafting mechanic, which wouldn't be so bad, except for the aforementioned inventory limit and the abysmal drop rates of raw materials. And the only raw material you can buy is stone, which has no uses asides from making your first weapon or two. You could buy the gear, but it'll take at least 10 fights for each piece of armor/weapon because of how little gold you get.

As you level, enemies start to spawn in pairs, and if you're high enough, in threes. It's annoying because you essentially never get a break. Your fights will almost always be lengthy and annoying. The game doesn't bother to tell you that there's a soft limit to your stats. Adding more points after a certain point doesn't do anything, which is a problem because you can't respec your stats or perks. Every fight is going to chip your health and every space you traverse is a hostile zone.

    Misc gripes:
There's no inn in the city. You can't sleep in your tent in the city. You get jumped by some drunk asshole, muggers, and sometimes city guards anywhere in the city. You have to pay the guard 10 coins every time you enter/re-enter the city and watch him be smug about it. The only entrance to the city is pretty much in the opposite direction to the commercial district. You can buy an item to allow you to teleport, except that there's only one location implemented, and that's the city's commercial district. Elemental resists, even though the only element I've seen is fire, and almost never use it. Dividing elemental resist into individual perk nodes and separating each one into a different tree. The melee perk tree requiring you to take that node to dual wield, and is the only tree that requires you to take 2 different nodes to get to the next node. Game breaks if you try to level up past 18. Being unable to respec your points. Having only 3 save slots. Having Crafting recipes that have "???" but don't actually have anything to unlock and unlocks popping up despite no "???". The tent uses 2 charges if you have a companion. You can't choose your companion's actions. I have no idea what status effects do. Your only companion, the dog, will more times than not outdamage you and is a fucking damage sponge compared to you regardless of your stats/gear, despite capping at lv 10. Most of sprites are straight up hideous and don't match the still art. Some of the quest descriptions are unclear.

I don't know whether it's Patron only or if it's just badly worded, but I haven't seen a single animated defeat scene. I've tried half the other scenes described, but they're still images when I encountered them. You can't masturbate your character, but not all enemies have a sex scene, and if you don't have bisexual tendencies, you're SOL.

Final verdict: I hate it. After this review, I'm going to delete my save, and forget the fact that I spent like 6 hours constantly checking the map for quests/events, grinding crafting thinking there's shit to unlock, and grinding levels thinking I can eventually one-shot these annoying ass enemies so I can finally grind for gold. "Surely there must be more to it for a game that's been developed for three years." Nope, there isn't.

P.S. I played this game normally. I'm aware that there's cheats, but even if you run from every fight and cheated your stats/gold, there's still barely any content and a ton of other poorly executed stuff.

A nice balance between gaming experience and porn experience, I like the rpg feel while not being too gameplay heavy, has a different feel than other games out there too, author deserves more attention.
