RedPillBlues has had the same problem 2018 as I have during the last months:

I am using the same way as he has mentioned to "solve" the problem but I would appreciate if maybe somebody can help me with this issue.
My problem is that via the alert symbol and the complete overwiev of all alerts not always those threads were shown when new entries have taken place. For example via alert I have currently one thread updated, while via
https://f95zone.to/watched/threads
and "Unread" filtered I have alltogether 14 alerts not mentioned via the alerts.
I am not clear under what circumstances these are happening. Sometimes it seems that it is happening when somebody has written a review, but after I have checked the threads not always a review was available. And even in these cases where a review as an update was reason for the alert (and I automatically unwatch/watch the thread) it is not safe that this will not happen again.
