Beautiful renders and character design, an incredibly captivating atmosphere and fun writing.
There is a good amount of content as of this version, but the minigame feels kind of dull or purposeless, hoping it will get better in coming updates. And more latina sister content please and thanks!

One of the best writings ever, the language and diction is fresh and immersive. Massive props to the writers. Character design is also amazing. All in all, one of the best games I have played in recent years. I look forward to all the future updates to the game.

Well done writing, good humor. The characters are actually unique, both how they talk during the dialogue and their looks, and they each have a reasonable arc. The story is fine, it doesn't take itself that seriously in terms of realism.

Visuals and audio are both a strong point. The BGM in particular uses a wide variety of tracks in different languages according to the different backgrounds of the characters, which is a nice touch. There are some SFX but they're pretty sparse. No voice acting, of course.

The gameplay loop is reasonably entertaining but not too difficult, and I guess if you want to skip even that that's why they have the coomer mode.

Overall I'd say it's 100% a 5 star.

Few nitpicks:
- The hire management has a bug- if you scroll up beyond page 1 it continues to go through 0 and then negative integers.
- The hire management / list is a bit cumbersome in general considering it's the main thing you need to look at to evaluate how you need to switch people around. It'd be nice if the page view (1) showed all the major stats without having to mouse over and (2) let you sort by each stat.
- The OP sequence should be in the gallery!

Tropicali is a management sim based on tropical island filled with beaches, babes, and bikinis.

The story is direct and silly. You inherit your father's resort after his death and due to some financial mismanagement (dammit [redacted]), you end up deeply embroiled with a devil angel investor trying to buy out the whole island. The story, and even the game itself, is mostly played for laughs, so don't expect devastating, genre defining drama. It's humor all the way down and pretty well done. The character banter is spot on.

After the intro, it's mostly character driven stories. You play a management sim in the background and advance character stories and/or your island buying ambitions each day. It's not wildly complicated or even very interesting, but it beats the everloving hell out of an RPGM battle grind or scene finder. In addition, the characters and their stories are quite good and very sexy, easily capable of carrying the game by themselves. Bonus points for well written sex scenes. That shit's hard to do.

The game also looks phenomenal in all respects. Beautiful girls, backgrounds, outfits, animations, hell even the UI is clean and efficient. It's what got me to download the game, and it didn't disappoint.

Overall, if you're looking for a harem story with inoffensive gameplay, great characters, a good sense of humor, and fantastic visuals, you can't go wrong with this game.

MC becomes the owner of a hotel hes dad left him, thats pretty much the start of the story and it already fucked it up, the sister tells MC that the hotel is already sold????? thats idiotic since MC whos owns half if not more never signed off on any sale???? and the dad said its up to MC to deside everything not the sister, so how can it be sold.... dont fuck up a story after 2 mins of play, might be small details but its annoying, even if you pick academic MC still dosent have the IQ that both as to sign a sale????? its just idiotic, he even acts like hes no IQ so the paths or choice in the start means nothing.

And after that game just goes to shit, starting with femdom having a bimbo with extreemly big and saggy tits walk all over you and fuck you....and thats the reason for MC being brainless and why the details in the start was ignored.....just for that sit to happen, so yeah its just a pure mindless porngame where story is kinetic and boring.

Having this brainless MC isent fun either, he trust the bimbo that she will give him the hotel back after she has taken over the hole island....so yeah sure makes sense she would just hand it back if that happened right.....
Game did have potential but that shit shouldent have been there, if MC was the one taking over the island for him self that could have been pretty fun but doing it for a femdom bimbo from hell, no thanks.....insted you now have to be a dog for a bimbo, work for her and and do everything she ask and fuck her when she wants to, that shit is just not for me.

Whats even worse is you cant even just skip her storyline since it will unlock pregnancy doing the questline....so yeah game that also killed the game.

The idiotic bimbo will the be your boss even though you would have the law behind you to take back the hotel.....but instend your forced to fuck this extreemly ugly LI whenever she wish, so to me it game is just a huge turn-off since i hate bimbos, femdom and huge saggy tits and fucking people i dont want to touch with a 10ft pole is not my thing, so game became pretty much unplayable after that bimbo shit.

And its annoying since game constantly tells you how you will deside but in truth you really dont deside anything.

Sandbox part is well made, its a bit of a grind but its easy to figure out, questlines for each girl isent linked together

Its good, easy and not that big a grind, girls questlines arent tied together well a few is, but that dosent really mean you have the freedom you might want, the most ugly woman is still forced on you and to unlock stuff your force to play her questline, meaning being her dog and sex slave, which i dident want.

It has forced LI, forced fetishes, yes you can turn some LIs down which makes it even more stupid forceing anyone on you.

Got to say i am supprise its rated so high, but guess alot of people like having LIs forced on you and femdom forced on you, and stories that makes 0 sense.
If the game dident force femdom and big tits and LIs on you it would be close to a 4-5 star game, i always found it stupid to lose players by forceing shit on them, its so easy to make it a choice instend.

A well-done VN with management sim mechanics set in a tropical hotel/island backdrop. It shows promise and an interesting story. The progression is quite linear and I didn't care about the twists and turns of every love interest, but there's lots of potential here.

The Good ()

• Charming love interests (LIs) that each have different personalities and well-developed backgrounds
• Lots of story content
• Fun management sim premise with relatively simple mechanics
• Well-rendered graphics and animations
• Nice H-scenes that pay off the story beats
• The dev claims the game is about "40% done" and there is a clear end in sight

The Not-So-Good ()

• The progression with the LIs is pretty linear -- achieving certain management sim and/or personal milestones with the LIs unlocks the next H-scene in predictable fashion.
• The management sim aspects can get a little "grindy" late in the game
• The dev introduces a number of comically-drawn "stand-in" side characters like a chicken, snowman, Sonic the Hedgehog, etc. to represent future characters but these are distracting and take away from the game immersion

There's a lot to like despite it's current "demo" status with a distinct lack of polish and open threads.

If this game gets a few more substantial updates, this could be one of the greats. The animations are on point, the character models are hot and come in all shapes and sizes. There's a good amount of content so far and takes 5-ish hours to complete (v0.5) if you take your time and don't cheat. Highly, highly recommend and after you finish, keep your eyes out for future updates.

This game is fucking good.

-a bit edgy with some part of the narrator writing
-the gameplay/management part is badly done, not interesting at all. Its only a demo, but if the game wants this game to be good, the gameplay part has to be redone, or complexified

I felt it had promise, but the characters felt very shallow. Despite the fact that it takes a lot of time to really get started, I enjoyed the premise. The story/character development simply failed to grip me.

The render quality is pretty decent, but it just doesn't make up for not really caring about any of the characters or relationships. If you just want to skip through all the dialogue to see lewd scenes there are better options.

The "adventure" aspect of "city building" seems like it would be interesting, but its basically kinetic. You'd have to be trying to screw it up for it to really matter at all. Which makes you wonder what the point is beyond busy work/unnecessary screens/fluffing play time. Also most of your "actions" consume a whole day which doesn't make much sense. However, that also doesn't seem to matter much as things are still easy to manage.

I didn't even reach the end before I was bored and didn't feel it was worth continuing. I can't honestly say its even worth a few hours of your time when you're bored.

EDIT: Just had to point out 2 more things, as mentioned in another review the constant "this is all going to go horribly wrong" messages were a bit exhausting. And the premise for one of the main girls having bought your resort, and thus having power over you,without your involvement/consent is pretty nonsense and would have been pretty easy to write around with a little effort.

This is what dedication backed and tempered by success will get you. So many of the games you see on this site want to be this good or want you to think they are this good.

The visuals are fantastic, camera angles, body language, the girls! Everything feels like it's actually designed with a goal in mind rather then being put there because "that's the way they do it" in other games.

The story is interesting. It's not too complex but in a good way, you can kinda see where things are going without being able to predict things to easily. The dialogue is pretty great and it's presented well. My only concern is the lines that aren't translated into english, I feel like I'm missing out but I don't wanna stop to google them.

The music is great! I don not recognize any of it but it's nicely curated.

The UI and game mechanics are all well designed and fun. Not many renpy games that deliver more then a pallet swap and some custom button placement.

Then there's Mio.

I need to see more of her, I'm normally a paragon rather then a renegade. But flipping that woman's switch is worth doing just about anything, I don't even care what she's asking for if I get to see her when she's not holding back more. I'm not saying being her pet would be satisfying, the way she's written implies that she's much more complex then a typical dommy mommy and I wanna see all of her.

Just let me push her buttons, all of them. This is gonna be great.

Babes, money and power. What else could we want in a tropical paradise? Absolutely nothing more, because what has been given to us as a demo, is an example of what finished products looks like.

I have been trying to think about what the game needs (aside from upcoming content, obviously) and quite frankly have come up empty handed. That's not to say the game is flawless. However, to delve into absolute unholy depths of nitpicking, I dislike the already minimal grinding (pun not intended, I promise)- which has in no way deterred me from playing this game even a little.

If I had to choose the one thing that makes or breaks a game like this, it would be the characters- and just like the soundtrack, dialogues & choices, ambiance, UI (and whatever else my two brain cells may be missing), they are as well crafted as I hoped they would be before playing and flow clearly in line with the theme of this world/island. Of course, the game is a demo, so it should be expected that the cast will be expanded upon further- both in quantity and quality. The focus, in my opinion, should be on the latter. That's not to say that the existing characters are lacking in any way; they are definitely not. But a sacrifice in current quality simply to introduce a larger group would be a shame to see.

I feel that the protagonist deserves a special mention amongst these as they are usually a cookie cutter, cardboard box/one dimensional personality as seen in other games of a similar genre. I'm particularly curious about the events that are said to have transpired, but we'll know soon enough I hope.

It would be greatly saddening to see this game stay a demo in perpetuity. I'm sure that everyone (including me) must be wondering if this indeed is the same universe(?) as our beloved CJ. Even if it isn't, it's a hell of an experience; I truly wish it reaches the potential of the author's other game and if I must wait another five asaṃkhyeya kalpas to see an update, I will gladly.


Edit: So apparently, it is the same universe. Now I wanna see the gang interact!

I've rarely given a game Excellent rating, but I think this game deserve it. The animations and arts are great, the story is lighthearted and good, characters have good personalities and their stories, the core gameplay is simple and not at all annoyingly grindy that resulted in overall good balance, and of course the sex scenes, the few that currently are there, are great. This game is worth it--and as long as the dev continues like this, I can say this game will turn out excellent.

Pros:
-Good performance.
-Good Waifus.
-Gameplay loop doesn't felt grindy nor boring.
-Good sex scenes.
-Characters stories.
-Upcoming Pregnancy (It is optional, hopefully soon it'll be implemented)

Cons:
-If I HAVE to nitpick and squint to find one, I suppose the core gameplay is too easy?

Looking forward for more.

The experience I'm witnessing with this game is nothing short of outstanding. Its development seems to be heading in a direction that can only be described as excellence. One aspect that particularly caught my attention is the animations - they're not just good, they're freaking top-notch! Such quality is a testament to the skill and dedication of the developers. I'm genuinely impressed and can't stress enough how much I appreciate their hard work. To the team behind this masterpiece: Please, keep up this amazing work!

5/5 Music - seriously, amazing music choices, probably the only game except for Being A DIK that has music choices that good.
5/5 Writing - Only gripe I have is that every single girl has a sort of sadness to them. I don't mind sad backstories but it just becomes apparent when every single one has it.

I'm loving the mix of visual novel scenes and management. I like that it's not too much management or grinding so it's just there to break up the monotony that visual novels can get. Overall, amazing demo and I can't wait for future updates.

Just finished the game, I love it, and it had plenty of content. It looked at first that would be super complicated and overly grindy, but it was not, far from it, well organized and intuitive. The characters are all beautiful, their personalties are well presented and lively (except Yoko, she not lively but she has a reason for that, and I think she's great too, she is my 2° LI). The renders, they super good, but there is only one thing that it bothers me, its not overly spoiling, its the brightness, its a bit bright ( I do understand that is tropical place and it is like that IRL), I wish it was toned down just a little bit the brightness. Other than that it's great, can't complain.

Very fun story with great visuals and humor as well.

It's a sandbox but with different levels of difficulty to either eliminate grind/ gameovers or to give you more of a management style challenge, whichever you prefer.

The MC is a great balance between cocky but nice enough, doesn't fall into the extremes seen on a lot of other games.

Varying levels of erotic scenes and lewdness progressions with the different girls, there is already a lot of great content in the game.

Great and fun feel-good avn! The sandbox mode is good (not the annoying kind), the li's are gorgeous, the mc is kinda a jerk but in a fun and good way.

The managment part is done just right imo, no rocket science required and it matches the relaxing vibe of the game similar to the game tropico.

This is for v 0.4 and i rarely encountered a new release with so much content.

The women look fantastic. I do enjoy myself some management gameplay and it has more 5 star reviews than a.. you finish that joke. And yet I just don't see it. Perhaps I expected too much from a game that still calls itself a 0.4 demo. But I believe in rating games as they are not on future potential.

The short: Comeback when it's a 0.7 or 0.8.

Porn content: There are a good amount of scenes but only with two of the characters (1 fingering scene exception). Mio a dom and Yoko emotionless.

Gameplay: You buy various locations and staff them with the main girls and filler characters. The main cast all have unique traits most of them boiling down to better at X. Each character has 4 stats that can improve over time as does every location. The effectiveness of which depend on how well you can fill those requirements.

And that's just too much to keep track off. Especially when across 20 jobs and as many characters with all of those being ever changing.

Luckily you don't have to figure that out. You can look at each job and compare characters directly where it will show you what will change if you swap them around. +50$ -2 harbor xp. But then when this is the only feasible way what's even the point? I didn't feel I was making interesting decisions.

There is a payment deadline but it's designed so you will have enough when it rolls around. All in all there just isn't much too it. It's functional.

Writing: The main girls are genuinely interesting. The MC is his own character and a bit of a sleaze. As of 0.4 however it's just a lot of build up and not much pay off yet. A kiss scene here. Sexual tension there. Characters where you wonder what's up with them but no answers yet. It's all fine just a lot of the pay off isn't there yet and why I recommend waiting for later release.

There are a couple things that are really grating however. From the intro it keeps repeating oh boy but you sure didn't know how terrible a decision this might've been yet. You might totally break her heart. Things of that nature over and over again. And I'm just not here for it. I'm not interested in a tragedy. But I also don't believe it because it's a porn game and it shows you the harem you will have. Maybe that's the point. You can't help but keep going even though you know it will end badly? Sure it's just too much all the time.

Maybe these things will end up having some amazing pay off in the future. I'm willing to believe. But as of right now version 0.4 it's just not there.

I don't often write reviews but I felt compelled to for this game. Because first impression it looks good. The reviews are highly positive. The story has great potential. The management gameplay not so much.

But I can't help feel like I wasted my time and if you made it this far I don't want you wasting yours.

EDIT: A minor thing. In the intro you find out your sister has already sold off the resort. MC goes to talk with the buyer asking them to reconsider and says he has no legal footing to stand on. Except..he does? The MC and sister both inherited resort making you essentially co owners. You can't just sell off a property without consent from the other owner. A nitpick perhaps but a story thread with one of the characters depends on this. And if those constant warnings are proven to be true those might as well.
