You should absolutely be that individual. The +1's are an indicator to potential translators of the amount of interest in a particular title. Translators will obviously translate what they want, they're doing it for free after all, but if they are equally interested in several games, then they are often more likely to go for the one that has more people interested in it. So +1 away at games you want to see translated.
