i have some good news and some bad news for you in case of a translation.

the good news is, you can have a very good english translation for yourself.

the bad news is, you have to do a few, but easy steps for it.

first, you should make sure you have enough free space on your computer (6gb at least) and minimum 8gb ram.

next, click on these links and download all neccesary files:

(download the sugoi offline model v3. it´s best to save to your desktop)

(download reipatcher. again, save it to your desktop)

(just click it. it downloads the neccesary dll. later more. save it to your desktop)

now the steps to get your translation

first unzip this huge sugoi folder. after that, double-click the reipatcher.zip. it should open and show a blue setup file.
now, open your game folder and drag and drop this setup file in there. double-click on it and it should unzip some files and merge with the game.
now double-click on "SummerClicker (Patch and Run)". your game should start. now start a new game, let it run, if you like, ten seconds and then close it.
now go into your games´folder, click on "SummerClicker_Data/Managed/Translators".
open it and copy&paste "SugoiOfflineTranslator.dll" in there.
now go to "AutoTranslator" and open the config file in there.

change the second line in this config file to this

[Service]
Endpoint=SugoiOfflineTranslator
FallbackEndpoint=

further down the file you will find this

[SugoiOfflineTranslator]
InstallPath=C:\Users\insertname\Desktop\SUGOI\Sugoi-Japanese-Translator-V3.0
ServerPort=14367
EnableCuda=False
MaxBatchSize=10
CustomServerScriptPath=
EnableShortDelay=False
DisableSpamChecks=True
LogServerMessages=False

change "InstallPath=" to where sugoi is located. the best way to do this, is to just open the folder and copy its´path and paste it behind "InstallPath".

and now comes the final step:

double-click on "SummerClicker (Patch and Run)" to update reipatcher and finally enjoy the game.

thanks for the resources. unfortunately, i did everything mentioned above (i dl'd the offline model from the youtube link along with sugoi translator and followed the instructions there) and still couldn't get sugoi to work. i'd get a python executable that would run and then close itself shortly afterwards randomly whenever i would progress the game, but it wouldnt translate anything. however, if i go to the config file and change the first lines into something like

[Service]
Endpoint=DeepLTranslate
FallbackEndpoint=

the translator would actually work.
in any case, thanks for the guide :)

the python.exe should stay open. i forgot to mention this, but your firewall forcecloses python.exe, because it functions as an offline server. you have to make an exception for python.exe and sugoi in your firewall. please google it to know how it´s done.
