Since this game uses pre-rendered images, I very much doubt that it's responsible for the damage to your card.
But hey, if you can afford a GTX 2080, and it's no doubt still covered by warranty, return it for a replacement.

Game runs just fine even on my older rig with an old 6 series NVidia 60 so (a) it can't be that the game demands are too high for a much better card and (b) it runs fine on that make of card. You have something fucked up in your GFX settings, nothing to do with the game (which is just a glorified browser showing images and short videos).

I think it's easy to see which one is my favorites, it's not the more complexe one! I watch those suggestions you guys made.

I find the game very cool and it has a intresting story but technical works my Graphic card for this renpy engine to hard.
I dont know what needs so many resources.
For the game a Tip.
Many players want all and "search" all archivments/gallery scenes.
Its better when you unlock all possible scenes in Gallery/handy with progress in story automaticly.
Attention Spoiler:
Day2 have we a Blackmail scene from Bacon. But take you the one (Rescue)scene, can you only see 2 new Scenes in your Gallery. Look you the blackmail scene, have you a other galleryscene free.
A new game reset the gallery-progress to start.
Itsd good when you choose a way...to save permanently gallery scenes in handy...or you open these "different" scenes all with story progress.

Ok, let me help you to get this straight: the latest available version is v.5.0P1 (P1 = patched version 1). It is shown on the right corner of the Game Menu.
The game engine is Unity and not Ren'py.
The game has been tested and confirmed to run on a bunch of old computers / laptops (I personally run the game inside a Virtual Machine on a low end laptop)
I assume your problem is during the animation scene (freeze, stop after a few sec., etc.) If yes, pls. download and install the latest Windows Media Feature Pack. This should help with the animation.
The gallery automatically unlocks the scene according to choices you make (Wimp or Hero Path) and down further the Girlfriend Path. This ensures that no one gets spoiled with images of an 'alternative' route.
This is a time travel VN.... everything is possible. Maybe we have to come back to this exact scene, and then you need to choose again, if you want to rescue Heather or not.

Ok. I gave it a try and got only to the second day.... and i am out of this. Fail. Simply too stupid for me.
The first day morning a visit with Bacon, catching a Voyeur and looking a few minutes at Pics and its "bedtime". Silly me. I forgot a day has only half an hour. With this first impression i expected not much, however.... the most unbelievable and poorly done blackmail ever was played. One call to the police and its over. --> I am sure there are better ways to let this situations play out.
I know its a game and fiction. Means not it should not be a little bit logical and plausible. Possible i have too high demands. At last the visual aspect of the game is good and the writing is ok.
Addition:
- All the locations are from begin visible but not accessible. Its confusing. The player clicks always around and trys to get somewhere. It should only visible whats already known.
- The game has not really freedom from what i could see. Its all steered to he next location, the MC gets always told what to do. This is already boring after 2 in-game days. The author should imho think about this.

I agree story writing could use some work. I do however think this is probably the best produced product to come out on here in a long time. (Lets just say privately produced, no corporation products)

I've gone back about 10 pages from page 340 but can't seem to find a save file from the end of 0.4.3

Are you saying that your own previous saves from past versions are not showing up, or that you simply thought a savefile would be included and haven't found one? Honestly, there isn't that much content that you can't simply play the 5 episodes if it's the latter, so there's not been much demand for savefiles. If it's the former, wouldn't it be better to fix the problem before the next update so your saves now will work then?
