Sorry your hint did not help me at all. Anyone else have an idea on how to solve "Stay but don't stare"? It is the only misison I failed in so I missed the bonus. I am really hoping this is not a Dev joke and is impossible to solve . All that being said I love this game. Excellent job. Will definitely be following this.

Man, the renders these days keep getting better and better. Plenty of games with mouth/cock watering graphics.
The thing is it's easier now to be mislead, as this is no longer a bench mark. I highly doubt that the writting kept up the same pace.
Keep in mind that I am in no way reffering to this game (I haven't played it), but just a general remark. This one surely does have great renders.

Played this and just like other games like it, I couldn't help but wonder : Do devs even know why most people are playing porn games?

But then again, those stalling mechanics are notorious for extending story content that would be considered short otherwise. So maybe it's a conscious (and shitty) choice.

To be fair, it's somewhat easier to make good renders than a good story.

For renders, you need a general and presumably good knowledge with Daz or whatever you'll use, and that's something that you can learn eventually, and more importantly, a good set-up.

For a story though, you need to have a mind and will for writing. Having an idea is one thing, you'll need to fill the gaps and create a story that is engaging, dialogues that fit, balancing. That's not something you can learn that easily, it's something that you have a knack for and develop based on that, or through a very rocky road.

I'll have to disagree there, I play for the story, if I want porn, well I go watch porn or read hentai if I want a little story, I, for example, play these games for two reasons, player agency, and story, and sure, I don't like games that are too grind, but having sex scenes just for the sake of sex scenes is not good either, I do have a problem with the tutorials and the inner monologue.

Kinda cool.
With the Ace Attorney gameplay .
The ending of chapter 1 kinda came unexpectedly.

But hey, If in future we can corrupt future version or past version of characters. That will be great.

If you are playing games for the story then you are not really disagreeing...

I like good story in games too. A major pet peeve of mine is pointless dream scenes in games, which is exactly what you are describing. Lewds for the sake of lewds with no real use plot-wise.

Puzzles, pixel hunting and stat building snoozefests are not story though.

Not sure what to think about this. For starters, the tutorials -- which are way too wordy btw -- are never ending. Beside that, the inner monologues are also very wordy, making the reading experience somewhat tedious.
I also find the hide-and-seek-randomly-click-on-stuff gameplay somewhat tiresome myself, though that might be more a taste thing. Just not a big fan of randomly clicking on things.

Pretty much everything else is pretty well done though. The dev(s) clearly put a lot of effort in, and it shows. The story seems pretty interesting, the writing isn't bad -- though again, it's a bit wordy -- the models and art style (while nothing special) are all well done and the things like the UI make sense.

So I see quite some potential here. It's just... very tedious at times. You should really cut down on the endless explanations.

He's right in the aspect of story development > grind mechanics that serve to stall the story. I think he was going along the lines that with story development, sex scenes will come faster, so it should take priority.

yeah no, I think I misunderstood you then, sorry, but yeah, I tried util the end of the chapter, but man, I can't, I might try it again in a year or so if they fix the problems with it.

Pretty good first effort, but it could use some major tightening up before the next version.

Way too much time spent in tutorials, and they are way too wordy. Cut to the point.

Drop the 4th wall breaking "hey it's the dev". It's not funny and detracts from the story you are trying to tell.

The interrogation mechanic needs better gameplay flow. You shouldn't need to manually stop on the line of conversation you want to contest. The game should trade back and forth between the conversation and the players chance to respond (take a look at how Long Live the Princess does it).

If the phone is going to be a major part of the game, it needs to be available at all times. It seems to disappear at the start of certain scenes, and stays gone until after you make a choice.

Phone UI feels off. Icons share the same colour as the background, not very distinct and feels a bit clunky.

Task system will need to provide better hints, especially for sandbox "find all the items" parts.

But it's a start. Good luck Dev! Looking forward to what you do with it.
