can't help but agree feels like the dev's out of their depth and not in the underdog sense

For me, I always got respect for the "big swing" with such endeavors because I know I would had dropped the project after the first week. Now even a quarter of the game done, there's always hope someone would continue the game even if the OP abandons it.

This story is a carbon copy of a different game called "Blacked or Bleached." It's not just similar, every detail is copied. MC owes local drug dealer money, he'll use that to get at the redheaded girlfriend. She stares at the black jocks. Hot teacher will use her class to humiliate and sissify. All the same.

Between that and the poor AI art, dev woke up and said "How do I put in absolutely zero effort?"

So defending this and giving it high ratings just makes no sense. I'm not one of those deranged people on a crusade against certain tags. But there's obviously a problem with this picture.

So the game is a reboot of another game that has been abandon for years. A game that just last April someone had posted;

Too bad this game has been abandoned a long time ago now. It was a nice game, I would have liked to see more history and more content. Who knows if someone will ever take this project in his hand and continue it. I know that a similar game has come out in Renpy, but it is not exactly the same as this and I prefer HTML games.

mostly however it does divert quite a bit with the party. The art is not great but of course not everyone is an artist. It would be better if he just used the same images as teh original but oh well. I will say at the very least this has at least started a new plot line.

I'll watch and see what they decided to do with it.
