I like Zippity's reviews but I always think it's unfair to rate a game on it's first release especially if the review is negative, that way the dev might drop the game out of discouragement, I believe it's better if we leave fresh games unreviewed till they get some significant development first...

Here is the first version of The Collective.
I decided to stop here for 0.01 as I am happy with where we are without having to introduce anything new halfway.

What does 0.01 include?
- 3 characters. Male MC and two female roommates.
- Around 11.000 characters of text according to Lint
- Around 90 1080p renders
- 5 repeatable lewd scenes

What do I hope to achieve for 0.02 (subject to change)?
- Add at least 1 more character to the mix, again, female
- I am aiming for around 90-110 renders with, hopefully, at least half containing adult elements. (This will be a re-currining goal)
- New location / ability to go outside

I could be missing something, but so far the journalist is earning a fortune as work (or guitar playing), seem his only options.
I have had the three identical conversations with the two girls over and over again, plus the quickie breakfast and dinner.
Hopefully things improve during the second week.

As far I see it, at least it has pretty good artwork and surprisingly little taboos for a porn game. In some sense I think this is more the sort of porn that couples watch to get in the right mood, not the sort of porn single men watch to fap. May be one of the very very few porn games, women will truely like too. I will not lie to you. It is certainly not the sort of game that will get me a boner, but one I can truely respect, as far as the artistic quality goes.

I went ahead and replayed this one, now that it's gone past Demo and into a production mode... It shows more promise then it did originally, even though there are still some issues to work through... Being that it's still in it's beginning phases of production, I'll probably give it a go again at some later date... For now, I went ahead and updated my review for this current content update (v0.01)...

It's one of those few fetishes that greatly diminish characters and our relationship to them where things like bdsm, fem dom and incest don't. Of course ntr might fit with a fem dom submissive fetish but i still think it should be optional... maybe i'm just weird but in want to be able to continuously enjoy this game as it develops.

Most folks tend to hate most uses of NTR, even if optional... Mostly because who wants to have a love/romance/sexual relationship with a character only to be continuously cock blocked by another character with no obvious path to avoid it right off the bat... Most of the time when dev's say optional, it either means you have to figure out the maze like path to get it to go away (which means its gonna keep happening unless you are either lucky or use a walkthrough, which should never be a requirement) or they offer it in a Game Option to turn it off, which is my preferred method, if they just have to put it in there for some reason (just got to hope it doesn't remove so much content that the whole game suffers)...You just don't see as many people against it, speaking up about it in places like this...

@grabb505 Just a couple of comments, having played the game now: Would be nice to have evening/nighttime renders of the locations. Doing the dishes should be a button you press while in the kitchen, rather than automatic, possibly increasing love of everyone in the house.

I'm enjoying the premise so far, I'll check it out again a few versions from now to see what you've done.

The UI will continue to be updated and I will add evening scenese as well in the future. I will however prioritize new content.
Dishes will be a button and not automatic and I am also going to work on a system that shows you where characters are, similar to BB or Goodnight Kiss.

I would like to add another male character, however not necessarily as a stereotypical "Eric" character as I know people don't like NTR.

Regarding skipping, I want to turn it back on but I have been unable to make it work in way that doesn't break the game. The Ren'Py curse I suppose.

And finally, I think, regarding the repeatable dialogue. Talking to characters in the living room is, so far, the only way to increase your "love" with them, which is needed to advance relationship. I may adjust the requirements in the future to make it less grindy, or I may add more things to increase the stat. I will write more dialogue as Sophie has only I think 3 different things, and Ashley has 5. Also Zippity, she is not a loon, she is merely talking about memes

As to my Ashley loon comment... She just starts spouting off random stuff (no mention of it being meme's), that even the protagonist acts like she's being weird, and yet she doesn't say "just kidding", doesn't laugh at herself, or follow up with anything after her random chatter, that would lead us as readers to understand what it is she's ranting about... It's just her random text followed by the protagonists confusion, followed be the conversation ending, with her saying nothing else... Just appears by all that random chanting that she has a screw loose...

Its a direct qoute from the game MGS V. But yes, I can see it being very confusing as you said on your points.
