I'll start by saying that the quality of the game is high, objectively it deserves 4 stars, but due to personal taste (subjectivity) I gave it 3, also because I don't think it's possible to give less than 6/10.

A good, very original game, both in the art style and in the various stories of the characters, finally something different from 90% of games.

Although the game features some mini-games to repeat, the game is not to be considered repetitive.

Another positive factor is the similar art between female and male characters, now to be considered in the evaluation, given that it is fashionable to make male models horrible.

Only one bug found and it was minor. I don't remember which quest, maybe with Diane repeating one of the milk delivered scenes but I don't remember exactly. As a result I can say that the structure of the game works very well.

Negative factors (subjective)
- Art in scenes. As mentioned, the art is original but in the scenes it has that something that makes me say meh, they are not badly done but they fail to convince me.
- Overall the game is boring and fails as an h-game, it has many scenes but they are not engaging, perhaps due to the art.
- The game still has a lot of unimplemented things and it honestly doesn't drive me crazy when I click on something and it tells me it hasn't been added yet. Again, personal taste, I'd rather not be able to interact at this point.

Could the game be someone's favorite game? Yes.
Does it deserve 5 stars? Yes.
Best character? Normal Eve.
Do I recommend the game? Yes.

What can i say, Summertime is one of those rare games that have a great meaningful stories, varied characters each with their own looks, personalities, and side stories. a world with plenty of places to see. truly, this game is great.

varied characters, plenty of sexual deeds, with smooth animations (when the mod is downloaded), a meaningful story that you actually care about, and an MC that isnt a dumb ass or a prick, hes a lovable goofball nerd that changes throughout the story as it goes on. DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE PLENTIFUL AND TASTEFUL POP CULTURE REFERENCES XD

just came to finishing the builds story for like the fourth time, and theres always something new that ive missed. sad to not see anything else come of it though, i dont feel ready to leave this world and character, and really love the way its done, which is really rare to get this much quality in one game, as most of these sites are plagued with shit. or abandoned gems.


wishlists: Bi content, more trans/trap characters, more old characters, and the hairy mod being fully implemented and supported for all characters to fit their style and personalities. more ANAL content! more locations in and outside of summerville. but bi content, traps/trans characters galore would be great! i like unleashing my inner perverse side on this game, so why not venture further xD.

would love to see a ton more stories being told in this world, with these characters and more, without long ass waits for minimum drip feeds of content. really though, for anyone sitting on the fence. get it.

The game is very good. Above all because of the art used by the creator, which, apart from being well drawn, integrates it perfectly with the sexual theme. The story is coherent and only advances when you talk to a specific person or use a specific object in the most graphic adventure style. But the good thing is that around the main story there are quite a few side stories with different girls that you can progress with. Thematically it places you in high school with all the options that that gives you, and it seems to have the objective of being able to fuck all the girls that appear, which is almost always appreciated. Without a doubt a reference in this type of games.

One of the best games out there. Just enough plot to make the sex scenes more fun. Great art. Only complaints are the minigames (which you can just cheat your way through).


Note for those who want to play the game with the trans version of one of the characters: At one point, you may be asked if you're interested in "men", and if you say "no", it switches to the version where that character is not a trans woman.

Great game, great art and great characters. The routes you can take are vast and varied, and the sex scenes are well animated and feel different to each other. This game is probably my favorite "typical guy gets all the girls" type story.

Edit: (after replaying v0.20.16) Great new content, and the game still holds up. Most of the story is already in place it seems, so future updates will likely focus on certain character paths. Speaking of updates, while slow, they're seemingly consistent and worth the wait, especially since the game will be free until the full release. Definitely worth replaying on big updates, and I'm eagerly waiting for the next.

The story , animation, characters every thing about this is too damn good and the mc isn't an air head sometimes he does dumb stuff but it doesn't feel like a game it feels real for a game

The story can hold its own and doesn't require the promise of sex scenes to keep you playing through. The sex scenes are many and most of them are good and jerf-offable. There is variety of types of erotic motivation for the gamer.

Review based on v20.16 Pre-tech

It was a very very hard experience. I usually play every game without walkthroughs, cheating, or mods in my first run but this game is unplayable without a walkthrough AND cheating. I hate it when I've to spent hours with grinding to get more plot. Most of the time you've to click around to find the next hint and "play" mini games to grind money or stats. Fucking sandbox!

The graphics are peculiar. It's comic style and if you get used to it it's sometimes a nice work. The MC has the common monster dick like all the MC's in weak porn games. The MC is quite dumb and all characters are one dimensional.

There's only one thing I liked in the game: the disses against the assholes Trump, Putin and Kim jong un.

I finished all "story" lines and, boy, that was hard work. Really hard work. There were times where I want to quit and delete the shit but at least I would play it to the end once. I missed some scenes and achievements but I can't do it to myself to play this again.

2 Stars because the game somehow managed it to get me to play it until the end. I can't believe I did this to myself. Maybe I'm a masochist and didn't knew it before.

Opinions based on most current update 20.16 released
in October 2022

More of a stressful experience than a fun pastime.

The simple graphics are just that...simple. They get pretty boring quickly.
A large black bar on each side that takes up ~1/4 of the screen is very bad as well. I haven't seen that before and it seems a strange choice. Also a bad choice is disabling certain things like going back if you missed the text from the previous slide. I've seen a couple developers do this and it seems like an odd thing to do.

There are several mini-games and they are really bad. You can cheat when starting a new game so as to be able to bypass them however it also cheats your money and stats so takes away the fun of even playing.
One mini-game is delivering pizzas. You have to keep upgrading to a better vehicle but on the second or third one, the screen moves too fast to play and just ads stress to the game. There is also a target shooting game that is too fast as well. I tried for awhile but gave up. Since you can't stop the game it's just a loop that keeps restarting until you pass the mini-game. You have to exit and reload from one of your saves. Of course this means you can't complete the game until you come back so........

Several things happen out of order. I guess that's partially because of the sandbox nature but still... People are paying tons and tons of money for this game so it should be better. There are other bugs that have been around for awhile but go unfixed, one of which is that the map may stop working and you have to start over again. It's a big game so starting over could mean hours and hours.

There's also the different forums and maybe a wiki page? I know that if you ask a question in the main forum you get hollered at. If you ask it in the /help/ forum they just tell you to look at the wiki or whatever it was.

I'm not sure if they are going to update it this year or not but maybe they'll fix some of this. Or maybe it will be addressed in next years update if they release one. Since the game has been out for over 7 years it would still be nice if it had a bit more content.
It just doesn't seem like a million dollar per year game at the moment.

Overall this is a good game with good taboos and stuff but graphics doesn't really appeal me, even if this game has my favorite inc. stuff I still feel a bit reluctant about it. Tried it a few time but never finished it, to much writing to get to good stuff, it's more like a VN, I really think this game is a bit overrated, there are better games with a much lower ratings but who am I to criticize what people loves to play, don't get me wrong, this game is very good but not a masterpiece, it has to many pointless scenes sometimes with cringy dialogue and some of the best girls having the shortest sex scenes+ already mentioned above huge walls of text making it a pure VN. I just had to write a review for this game because it's one of my absolute favorites! The story is fantastic, and the art style is simply amazing. I can't get enough of it! It's such an immersive experience with a captivating storyline that keeps you hooked from start to finish.

While the plot isn't overly complex, it's incredibly entertaining and engrossing. The game strikes a perfect balance between humor and serious moments, creating a thoroughly enjoyable journey.

The art style adds so much to the overall experience, and I love getting lost in the visuals. There are plenty of memorable scenes that make the game even more special.

Honestly, I can't recommend this game enough. If you're looking for a game with a great story and stunning art style that you can truly immerse yourself in, this is the one! It's an absolute must-play.

After playing through it a couple times even though it's not finished, I can say with all the things in this game and with all the stories, I definitely would want to see where this game goes from here. there isn't much for me to say except that you have to a least try this game once or twice.

Probably one of the best games in the genre, I finished it a few years ago and came back again and I can say with complete certainty that it is still one of the best, the development of the relationship between the MC and the other characters is very solid.

- Best story from any game every character you meet has their own story and is very well written
- The MC's relations with all the characters, alive and dead, is so we'll done
- Eve's story is enough to give this game a 5/5 and the back story with your dad and the men in black showing up unfolds so well

Gameplay(3/3)
- Mini games are very fun and don't get old fast especially when some you can upgrade certain aspects of them to make more money and do them faster
- Movign around the map is very intuitive and smooth to the point where it just becomes second nature
- The button for the map and the bedroom is very easily accessible and is such a good QOL addition

Art(3/3)
- Such unique and personal Art unlike any other and even inspires so many games
- Best 2dcg from any game
- scenes are beautifully done and the town changing throughout the day gives a great atmosphere. Lights turn on, sky changes, and even characters placement moves

What I see here is perfection, I have played a lot of games like Summertime Saga but there is no game like this one, lately I noticed that the game is taking forever to release the next update but I also noticed that the next update is like an overhaul update to the game so I'm gonna wait till its been released to continue this perfection.

Fantastic game, one of my favorite 2D games I keep comming back to.

Great pacing. Great animations. Great Dialogue. And great "genre's" for everyone to enjoy.



I highly recommend anyone to give this a chance.

This game has so much to offer, it's well drawn, well writen, funny and arousing!
You have hours of gameplay to discover the city, the girls, understand everyone feelings.

The only problem would the Tech update that take forever to be done

Positives: a true sandbox porn game to the core. Packed with a multitude of paths you can take with a very likeable MC - which is rare.

The art is distinctly the western variety and it's pleasing to look at. Animations are simple but you can change the speed for the majority of them, further adding depth to the game.

If you're into impregnation, this game has a refreshing touch to that aspect as well.

Negatives: these are only minor blemishes but if you're interested (spoilers for Eve's path) I was misled by a fanart and was disappointed to see that Eve doesn't get to fuck you and you don't really get to see the MC give her oral other than the 69, which covers him up by her thighs anyway. This isn't the first time a straight game tries to diversify the cast, by adding transgender characters to the game but fails to be inclusive on all fronts.

If you're going to do that, they should be represented in all aspects. The whole point of that storyline for her was about the MC's acceptance of her gender regardless of "what was down there". It would have been interesting to see how the MC would react if she took initiative.

She's the only female character with a trans route so both aspects should be equally represented in my opinion (if you're going to add trans characters). The MC gets to fuck her which is good, so let her do the same to the MC as an option too.

My other pet peeve is (spoilers for the main story) the MC's father. I don't care about his death, yes I understand that this is the whole plot of Summertime Saga but I have more fun with all the other little stories and paths.

This didn't really bother me until I kept "bumping" into the Russian crime group triggered whenever I selected a location by a random roll dice mechanic.

I would get my money stolen which disrupts the flow of the game. I couldn't stop it other than being forced to play through the main story or reloading. This is annoying and not necessary.

Overall: when it comes to porn games, you really can't find many better than this one. This is the golden standard. There's a reason why it's highly backed on Patreon; my criticisms are a drop in the ocean compared to the vast wealth and quality of Summertime Saga.

I loved this game.

Its story, its characters, the drawing..., everything seems spectacular to me.

When a skilled author puts his heart into a project, it shows.
