But I must admit I am suprised, that people are willing to pay money to the dev for 4th remake and (almost) no new content.

I guess that would depend how you define 'content' doesn't it....I don't think any rational person can say that 2100 extra renders is no content...can they? That's more than many devs pump out a year lol. Rational I said...not F95'ers who haven't paid a single cent regardless lol.

Story progression? Then yes, that can be lamented but it's not like any of this is news, we have all known about this for months andmonths, not sure why anyone is surprised or shocked.

What an epic fail concerning the Steam release!

Ocean censored the fuck out of SG to get it on Steam and you know what? STEAM STILL MADE IT UNAVAILABLE FOR GERMAN STEAM USERS!

I would have bought the Steam version to support Ocean, but this is well... A new chapter in the Saga "How bigot puritan platforms force people who would buy games to go to "alternative places"!

Yes but who's to say season 2 won't be like the neutered steam version and less like season 1? Mark my words if this is the route they are going to take this game will end as a visual novel and not an adult visual novel.

SG is one of the most popular VN on this site, and the only thing I see in this thread is fragile babies that have basically repeated the same argument since 2020. Yes it doesn't have sexuality yet, the fucking game warned you with a splashscreen the moment you open it, move on.
Yes, the dev is reworking the chapter for consistency. It was an annoying process, for everyone, dev included.
Yes, there was "censor" for the release of the steam version. There won't be any moving foward.

The steam release is very important for a dev. I've bought the game for support. It's a very good game, and on this site they are rare.

Honestly I do not care much about this game except Bella. But what i care about is His other game and i fear he will try the same shit there especially when Patreon nuked his patreon for whatever reason.

And yes call me whiny. I also whne about any sort fo Censorship like Stellar Blade. No matter how stupid it is.

Nah, I'm comparing against Ch5 Beta (the last public release we had on the site just a mere few hours back).

I honestly don't even care about the dialogue changes really, like most of you guys do. There is so much dialogue in this game, I won't remember really any of it, I will remember scenes but not dialogue.

Some of the scenes being changed sucks, like no more nudity with zara and vanessa in the hot tub, but at the same time I am slightly ok with this because, it makes sense for zara not to want to get nude with MC yet, vanessa doesn't really make sense, she should of still got nud based on her personality.

I wish some scenes like nipple pump and jacuzzi grinding stayed, but at the end of the day what can you do, this still one of my all time fav, tied number 1 on list with 2 other avns, and I am not going to bitch and moan, and let this ruin my day or mood, with some changes and choices that were made.

Yes! Which doesn't really make it better. Prioritizing music over lewd renders in an AVN is fucking wild. Especially considering the overwhelming majority of people playing these games disable the music from the get-go.

We agree on some things but...

Where are you getting your stats for the overwhelming majority of people playing Summers Gone disable their music?

I get that you disagree with Ocean's reasoning for censoring some of his images to preserve music licenses, but SG has Great music.

IMO - yes - My opinion - Ocean's music helps to make SG a Great AVN.

You can certainly speak for yourself here, but I Know you don't speak for the overwhelming majority of people playing Summers Gone.

I can say that I have Rarely seen any of Ocean's Paying supporters complain about his music and if we are willing to support Ocean's music choices with our $ (anyone who truly disagreed would stop supporting with $, right?), why wouldn't he take that into account when deciding to create a Steam rev of SG?

This may very well be the only AVN I've ever seen that (now) doesn't have an 18+ warning at the start.

By next update this VN could be curriculum in elementary school textbooks (just add some rainbow flags ). Amazing.
