Me too...You just described me.
Me too...You just described me.
Then will nothing change, Ocean can still make a living out of the income Patreon/SS generates. Steam is more or less a tool to get a nice money pillow for additionally safety in the short term, and in the long term to pull more audience to Patreon/SS.unfortunately, you will be disappointed . because when steam version of SG got bad sell ,
Try to get any VN on Steam from Germany -- and you'll find out that you'll get non that contains any kind on nudity - same goes for GOG.So, the game has an appropriate rating to be released in Germany but "frequent nudity" blocks it, no matter the ratings?!?
I hadn't been confused like this since the third Matrix movie ... Makes no sense.
Steam uses the PEGI system.the game has an appropriate rating to be released in Germany
DriftyGames , So you are forbidden from both of them from now on and my beloved Sasha.Try to get any VN on Steam from Germany -- and you'll find out that you'll get non that contains any kind on nudity - same goes for GOG.
I know because I tried for multiple Games I liked to buy... for example Leap of Faith by Grifty Games... also no way to get it on Steam from Germany.
So it wasn't that much of a surprise that he even mentioned it - LOL
Who says that?...and my beloved Sasha.
definitely, Sasha is a unique wonderful beloved Girl, I Love her, So What??!!Who says that?
But it's fine, I don't mind waiting. Lots of other games to play, books to read and shows to watch.Me too...
Your statement is beyond reproach, BUT is your name on her face, on her body, or anywhere else? NO ergo, it's NOT YOUR SASHA! OK?definitely, Sasha is a unique wonderful beloved Girl, I Love her, So What??!!
NO.Your statement is beyond reproach, BUT is your name on her face, on her body, or anywhere else? NO ergo, it's NOT YOUR SASHA! OK?
She belongs to all of us!!!
that's how I know you, Kazanovaromeo
No matter the naming it is a weird censorship.Steam uses the PEGI system. You must be registered to see the linksis NOT german. PEGI is used by 41 european countries, but not in Germany. Germany uses an own system calledYou must be registered to see the links. I don't know why so many people talking about a rating in Germany when it's nothing have to do with Germany.
It's especially odd given how crazy German porn is lol.No matter the naming it is a weird censorship.
What harm would boobs do to the Germans, turning them straight?
Well, talk with Steam. They use PEGI. The german system USK isn't as strict as PEGI. In Germany it's only porn if you see an erect dick and/or open vagina. Summer's Gone is USK 16 even with the removed pictures everybody talks about. No matter the naming it is a weird censorship.
Dude, once again: IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GERMANY! In fact nobody in Germany cares about boobs. You can see them on television in the afternoon, even in tv shows for children. It's not the USA where the whole country gets a meltdown when Janet Jackson shows a nipple during super bowl show. What harm would boobs do to the Germans, turning them straight?
So it gets PEGI 16, and can be bought in the US by pretty much anyone, because there is no age verification, but Germany which has a less strict rating, noone can download or buy it when the only sexual content is boobs and innuendo.Well, talk with Steam. Not Germany, or thier USK(former FSK), or PEGI are enforcing that censorship/geoblock.So it gets PEGI 16, and can be bought in the US by pretty much anyone, because there is no age verification, but Germany which has a less strict rating, noone can download or buy it when the only sexual content is boobs and innuendo.
Makes complete sense.
This is what I'm trying to understand - it hasn't received and 18+ rating, but a 16+ one, so why would it be geoblocked to germany? Not Germany, or thier USK(former FSK), or PEGI are enforcing that censorship/geoblock.
Steam does.
Germany just want a proper age verification to protect minors from 18+ content - and that is justified.
Moronic Steam is lazy as fuck and refuses to implement one, so Steam decided to go the easy way and geoblocks all 18+ content for the German players.
That's on Valve. In the EU you have to have an age verification system. It's EU law. The problem with Germany is that Germany is the only country in the EU where an old catholic hag sued Valve because of the lack of said verfication system. Instead of implementing an age verification system which fits to EU law, Valve decided to shadow ban german customers from games with sexual content. Same would happen if someone in the Netherlands, Poland, Austria, Denmark, France, Italy, etc. would sue them. Valve don't want to invest money into an age verification system. As long as no one goes to court no government cares about it. But it's EU law.So it gets PEGI 16, and can be bought in the US by pretty much anyone, because there is no age verification, but Germany which has a less strict rating, noone can download or buy it when the only sexual content is boobs and innuendo.
No, it doesn't. It just shows you don't know the background about Steam, and just a FYI: as a german you can buy said games on Steam. You just have to know how.Makes complete sense.
1. SG has nudity (the rating is irrelevant)This is what I'm trying to understand - it hasn't received and 18+ rating, but a 16+ one, so why would it be geoblocked to germany?
