VN - Ren'Py - Summer Crush [Ep.6 v0.5.9] [Wet n' Juicy Games]

I have just finished playing this game for the first time an I am deeply shocked. How could I give 5 stars to the game which I was about to turn off during the episode 1? The game that gave you no choice of who to go for? The game with many language mistakes and a simplistic dialogues? The game introducing the MC who seems to be one of the biggest wimps with a big cock I saw in any of the AVNs? The game in which the girls throw themselves at the MC for no reason? The game with the average renders? If the reader, stopped playing after the first episode - get through the initial mediocracy and enjoy the most twisted story I have ever seen in any of the AVNs.

• dialogues go from 'oh you are so perfect MC' to the meaningful writing
• MC ends up being really interesting and his inner monologues areon a different level
• after the initial (very long indeed) introduction the game allows you to move from what seemed to be a kinetic novel to the choice-driven, comprehensive story
• The LIs are not just shallow women who throw themsleves at you, but each of them has their own backstory and sometimes even a hidden agenda
• Renders improve along with the story. In the last 2 episodes, the renders are A+
• Environments full of people (mostly), great music, romantic paths - it's all there

I am indeed deeply shocked, that all the points I have mentioned above are well incorporated in a great story, which indeed takes some ideas from a famous Holywood Production (I am not going to say anything else, to not give you any spoilers), but it incorporates it in the multi-level intrigue, which goes deeper and deeper with every next episode. My recommendation? Play this game even just for the story, it's really worth it

I can say that initially I liked it and it had its own path, then honestly you don't understand anything anymore, a confusion with this mental problem, that you don't know what game you're playing, no choice, a mentally ill Mc, but worse, you don't understand who is his girlfriend, who is real or who is an actress, no logical thread, only one thing is top, the graphics, the rest incomprehensible

Even with mixed reviews I gave this a try since the renders/girls do look good. Unfortunately besides that and some good sex scenes, I couldn’t enjoy this. It’s not completely kinetic since you can refuse a few girls in a few scenes but overall you’re railroaded into doing several questionable things with girls you might not want to. Basically after going to a party you don’t want to go, you go from virgin (or nearly so) to being either a major manslut asshole or a moderate one within two days from getting drunk at said party.

The MC is a wussy, clueless idiot and at a few times a macho asshole. He’s also fugly imo. I’d rather he looked like Fren. I kept hoping he’d grow/mature some but he either remains an idiot or is easily manipulated by the evil mastermind chick behind everything. And how is this teenage girl so powerful that she’s practically pulling everyone’s strings? And why add the whole story with Ela/Chrissy? He had some extra renders around or so the mc could see what a nasty slut his former crush was or to make a convoluted story even more so?

Finally, even though so much seems to be on rails, if you want to see all scenes, you need to replay several times and for a few rare scenes you need to be really finicky in choices or you won’t see them. My recommendation besides the dev doing a total rewrite and getting a better translation for a more sensical MC and story, would be for the reader to get a gallery unlocker since just skipping all the inane dialogue gets you only about half the scenes.

Well story is pretty boring and the lack of choices makes it feel kinetic, the start should have been a prologue since you have no option to turn anyone down, and if there is one thing i dont like its LIs being forced on you as the player, thats why i never play kinetic novels i just dont like it.

MC also feels like an idiot, he has hes old girl friend whos in love with him and insted of thinking about that he just goes around fucking who ever.
He also wants hes ex girlfiend back that broke up with him 6 months earliere not clue why but MC just feels extremly submissive and for some weird reason he has 0 backbone.....

After he kiss and fingers Mia what does MC do, goes to some other girl get a foot job and what can you do as the player about it, absolutly nothing your just forced to play a submissiv man whore with 0 braincells.
So yeah kinks like footjobs are also forced on you.

And of cause MCs ex girlfriend is forced on you as well after you started seeing Mia....so you cant be faithfull in this game in any way and its not a harem game either so not really sure what it is, but MC is cheating on both of them but no cheating tag either.....and the plot can be seen miles away since your arent allowed to even pull out and creampie is forced, you can take a wild guess as to why that is.....hint yet another tag that arent there, that makes it 4 in total.

Story is also a bit of a mess, once Mia and Ruth meets with MC he thinks hes fucked since he had sex with both of them, but heres a newsflash Mia is a fucking virgin he never had sex with.....

After the weird twist if you can call it that, even the twins shows up at the hospital asking which of hes whores picked up hes phone, and if he something to explain....not sure what that is about since MC never fucked any of them, he barely even knows them.

And fren(MC) is talking about all the girls MC has fucked but thing is, i dident fuck anyone that wasent forced so that means only 3 girls Mia,Ela and Ruth.
Same when Mia ask how many and you pick the truth and say "more then i like to have" i mean really, she knows about Ruth and theres only been one more in my play through that MC had sex with.....so why not say that 1 beside Ruth thats it......but he makes it sound like he fucked all of them.....

Virgin scene was piss poor as well, no pain no blood and it skipped most by just showing a single picture with mc not even being inside her and just text like "The it point of no return is passed" and thats it and girl says "ah ah" so yeah 0 virgin 0 deflower vibe, just a standard normal sex scene, also yet another tag that are missing.

The girls that should be late teens looks more like milfs to me, and they mostly just have the same build which dosent make it any better, so tried to play on for story only which dident help.

In chapter 6 some text is in russian or something, making it harder to figure out whats going on...and it gets annoying that the story acts like you fucked everyone when you havent fucked a single one, my play through i fucked 3 the forced ones, 0 of anyone else, not Sofia, not the twins, not the asien girl no one...and you keep hearing about how MC fucks eveything that walks...
its just to kinetic where choices you made is ignored.

Also again MC is brainless, Lina who he knows now is a total bitch not to be trusted fucking accepts to drink a glass of wine, how the fuck does he never learn not do to that shit, even after getting drugged at the party, no one can be that stupid....it just kills the story.

Animations are about average.

Music is also average.

Choices are shit, you can stop MC from having sex a few times but thats about it, and when you do story acts like you fucked everyone.

Episode 6
There are some very nicely done sex scenes in this game. Lot's of positions and choices, well animated, very nice. The women are also nice, unique faces you've not seen in lots of games before. No variety though all are about the same age 20 somethings with the same body just about. No older women at all very boring.
The choices during the "story" just seem to exist to make you have to play through again. If the story was any good maybe I'd want to do it again but it isn't and I don't.
The MC may aswell be shouting "skip" seldom have I come across a story as tedious as this one. Watching grass grow or paint dry are adrenalin fueled xtreme sports compared to this, god it's awful.
My advice skip, wank, skip, wank and so on and so forth.

I enjoyed this game alot. I found the story captivating and interesting, and enjoyed the little clues as the MC pieces together the central black hole of what happened at the party. The women's renders are good, not great, but good enough for me to care about them. The storyline at one point calls into question the very reality experienced by the MC, and I liked that. Many choices, and they matter. As usual, I play as if it is going to be a harem game, and then as things come crashing down realize that it is not, and I actually enjoy that process.

I may be a person with simple needs when it comes to this kind of games. I really liked Summer Crush, something that the game does really works for me. At least enough to leave a review.
All the girls are beautiful, not all are exactly my type but they are all really nice to look at. As for technical execution of the renders I really can't say - not an expert - but I did not notice anything bad at all.

Sex scenes could be longer but they are good and varied. Several of them are unavoidable which many people - me included - don't like too much. I can understand why it may be necessary, considering the ending of chapter 5, but still.
There are choices and despite what some people stated they do matter to some degree. Yes, I would like more elaborate paths, but what is there is not bad at all and I am curious where it goes.
The story itself is nothing we have never seen before but it serves the purpose. People have stated that the language is not that of a native speaker and that is clearly the case. However, I have seen much worse and the level is good enough to not distract me. Just to point out the obvious, translating from Russian or any Slavic language to English is far from easy, and I think they did a pretty good job.

If you like beautiful women give this one a try. If you feel like compelling story telling is more important I'd suggest to read a good book.

great game. first off some renders-girls not that fond off. but you build some character wish there was more tho.
future in the game the renders start to look better and the girls start looking WAY better. and the story for me gets better with a plittwist that comes quite a bit into the game and i like where it goes.
and the picks-roads you have to take to get the diffrent girls-small routes for unlocks that i liked to try to go for.
nice game that i will keep a eye out for updates.

alot of choises feelslike dont matter alot and you dont get to say much. if you try to fast skip the game you dont really get many things you can deside youself on but many things you do . seems like only matter small bits some slowly adds up to a bigger chunk in some roads.

This game is a mixed bag. I like some parts of it, but then it triggers me at some places.
As many have mentioned, there are no meaningful choices for good part of the game and the content is just forced on you. Maybe its for the plot, but it would have been better to give the player a choice.
Biggest Problems -
- There is a smoking hot milf in the game, but you cant do anything with her other than some teasing.
- Dont know if i made any wrong choices, but whats the point of having twins in the game if you have to choose only one of them?

If you just want to watch some dumb sex scenes, then go for it, otherwise the plot is really lame.

For me this is five star. Probably also because I decided to wait until 0.2 to play, so then I have game with some bug fixes and substantial size decrease, but this only added to already great value of the game. I also didn't notice translation issues other people complained about. Maybe because I'm not native speaker, or maybe 0.2 fixed them all.

But back to the game itself, I'd say it fits really great into my type. Not complicated, with interesting story, choices rather about picking girls than some earth shattering plot event. Very nice. And I must say, different characters are written good, you can feel the different personalities. I honestly wanted to escape from ex instead of restarting things, because she was, well.. well written nutjob. Kinda wished it was a possibiloty, but I understand she's very important to the story. And man, that plot twist at the end! Totally unexpected, amazing!

If I may suggest something, to make it more interactive, there could be some simple minigames added once in a while, or even simple point'n'clicks to collect those gallery images. I mean, gallery is there, so why not make it slightly more engaging for players, since imgaes are not really connected to situations they are unlocked with, but rather bonus renders.

Also if we're talking about renders,I have nothing to complain about. They are very high quality. And girls look gorgeous. Animations could give a bit of 'mechanic' feeling sometimes, but not very often, and sex scenes are varying, be it poses or content, so I watched them with pleasure, and didn't feel any repetition. Also amount of sex scenes comparing to whole game length feels just right, not too little to notice any lack of it, not too much to take focus from story.

It's first time I actually saw game with first release of that long gameplay. Usually devs just put very short fregments, but this one gets A+ for gameplay length. Nothing more to say, other than good work and I'm waiting for more!

Oh wait, one more thing actually. From the story so far it's safe to say it most likely be single girl end game, but I'm hoping dev can at least make the option of not having to chose one of the twins, but take them both. I hope it's too tempting possibility to have both instead of being forced to choose one.

Nice story so far, great cliff hanger on the end. Curious about what comes next.

The models are also looking good but like many other games i have a feeling i have seen them allready (but that can also happen because of the same engine or something like that). World is sometimes a bit empty but because of the story that doenst bother me.

You can tell it is translated into English. Writing is clear (not Engrish), but some phrases and ways things are said feel wrong, enough that it feels notably subpar. Maybe a better translation could fix this?

But even a better translation doesn't fix what feels like inherently mediocre writing. It just feels like it lacks any depth.

There are two issues for me that are a decidedly bigger deal.
1) lack of meaningful choices. What is going to happen is going to happen, and the player is a mostly passive observer.
2) beyond merely being whiney, the MC is, as happens far to often, dumb as a rock. This isn't an issue of a poor translation. MC is legitimately STUPID.
A clueless MC can work as an excuse to shoehorn in exposition (needing things explained to them), or for the sake of humor. But this game has no need for the former and a dearth of the latter.
You play as someone with such a limited intellect that I'm surprised his mother isn't a main figure in the story, just to help him put on his Velcro shoes and a bike helmet before he leaves the house.
This guy needs both hands to count to 5, and might get lost along the way.

There is no enjoyment in playing a game with an MC who is so slow that he'd stand for hours at an intersection waiting for the stop sign to turn green.

I found it difficult to play this because of the writing.

It really felt like a chore to go through the game and due to that, I admit I just gave up at some point.

IDK, there was just nothing special about it. The renders were fine, but not fantastic, same goes for the design of the girls.
The story is really just there to carry meaningless sex scenes, which also aren't particularly good.

There's really nothing wrong with the game, apart from the weak English, but there's also nothing remarkable, nothing that made me really appreciate the game. No character who was special enough to leave an impression or made me want to continue playing, no girl visually stunning enough to make me want to see more scenes with her.

IDK. This game is average, with a sub average writing, it works and if you only want to see sex scenes those will also work, but there's nothing to lift this above the dozens if not hundreds of similar games.

I don't think I will be coming back to this, unless there are major changes in the writing quality.

Game is nothing special, feels more like a kinetic novel rather than visual novel, the only choices are "Yes" or "No" so I would call it "binary choices kinetic novel" since the second choice where we just don't see content is just pointless and the game would be even better as a kinetic novel. Let's be honest, no one plays porn games for the story (even though there are a couple ones that have really good storytelling and dialogues) so why giving us a choice which is no choice at all? "I don't want to see porn content" said no one playing porn games.

Anyway, subjectively I would rate this game 1/10 and giving it 1 star would be generous since it's a waste of space and time. But objectively this game is no worse than most games here, it's just average, with decent enough renders and porn-logic, I've just been spoiled by 10-20 really good games that are worth playing.

The Good: The renders are quite nice, and as has been mentioned thoroughly in the comments section, one of the largest, if not the largest first release - tons of content.
The Bad: The story is poorly written, and non-sensical in places. The mc is a loser, that somehow gets women to throw themselves at him, which gives me the feeling it is written by a teenager.
The Ugly: The MC is a idiot - seems like a whiny beta that pulls the ladies like an alpha - makes no sense. I find it hard to play/read VNs where the MC is unrelatable on almost every level. With better character development, perhaps I'd understand or relate more.

I was going to give this a 3 star - for the lovely ladies and hope of a promising future. However, plenty of devs make renders of this quality, and due to the size of the first release I had hoped for more...

For this one, the Juice is not worth the squeeze...

0.1 version and I am amazed by size and scope AND quality.

Story: It's as interesting as it can get for a game that allows you to sleep with almost all female characters. I give that a 9. Gained points for the ending of 0.1

Characters: That's a solid 10. Their developments and appearance.

Sex scenes: That's an 8. Good quality and hot enough.

Even the MILF is a very interesting character and I am hopeful it develops further the way it's already going!

Took me about 3.5 hours to complete a single playthrough. Very solid for a 0.1 so GJ wet-n-juycy for a good start.

Story actually is nice. It started as simple party, sex, beer etc but ended with a nice plottwist (can't wait for 0.2 to check that out). Yes there is Forced sex, but somehow dev explained it. Choices here are simple - you can choose with which girl you wanna spend your time. Maybe some choises are more impactful - need2check.

Girls are good, like, really good. They are really different from each other. And yes (SPOILER ALERT) you can bang twin-sisters!

Music is simple - but fits to mood of the game really good. Still recommend to get some more free licenses.
