That is one of the planned movies they'll eventually get back to. Scarlet Nights is intended to have sequels (focusing on Catwoman, Ivy, and Batgirl.)
you for real mate - coz thats fuckin sick - but that probably wont be for atleast a year or two - they'll focus on subverse for now :/

"supposedly" being the key word here. Even if that was the original reason, things can change when your "training project" is suddenly your biggest cash cow. The game doesn't even use a lot of cinematics, and the actual porn cinematics aren't any better than their old ones, worse actually - just simple, short loops.

As for their planned projects, they had planned projects that were abandoned even before the game was announced. So it wouldn't be the first time they cancel some project due to priorities.
Well yes and no. The quality is actually better. If you look at game cinematic vs Kunoichi trilogy. The quality of the image scene is definitely better. The images are not as blocking, definitely upgraded quality for an overall image, better coloring...The fact that the scenes are just short loops is kind of expected. Its not like they were going to put long drawn mini-movie length porn cutscenes into the game.

I think if they chose to not make anymore movies, it would a big mistake. Subverse being a cash cow or not, there's plenty of peeps who care nothing about Subverse and want movies again. There's definitely a large demand for movies. And eventually the shine of Subverse will wear off. Sure you'll always have the dire fans, but eventually it will become just another game. Then what.

Whose ready for FowCoin lmao!:ROFLMAO:

All the dumb fucks that buy into that deserve their shitty ass ten second loops.:HideThePain:
Its not really any different then Helix currency in Assassin's Creed games, or Golden Keys in Borderlands or Silver in Destiny. Its their version of premium game currency.

It looks better, but not that much better considering they're not restricted by SFM anymore. As a whole they are still a complete downgrade from their old works. 15 second loops with a static camera, and visuals that look like SFM 1.5. Neat.

Then what.
Like I said, another game. If people are happy with this kind of result, and they are making good money in a "legit" way, I don't see why they would go back to making longer movies with copyrighted characters, published on platforms that keep taking huge cuts off the profits and then kicking them out. Sure there's still a crowd for that content, but if they're making much more money from the more mainstream gaming crowd (#2 on steam sales this week), that sets their priorities.

But never mind my own speculations, did they actually, recently, talk about concrete plans for any new movies in the future? Because all the communications I see from them are either about Subverse or the platform they're putting up to market it outside of steam (Streemster). Something along the lines of "oh we do plan on making more movies in the future" means nothing, considering they already had plans before Subverse that have since not materialized at all.

What they do now is much below what new animation artists have made while they were busy creating the game. Take a look at Bulging Senpai or Nyl.

Yes, but those artists aren't making full length films either.

they moving to blender?
No they're making their films in the future also in UE4. From their FAQ's:

How will your movie production be impacted by Subverse?

We will continue making movies in the future. Instead of jumping into movies right away in a new engine, we chose to get some practice by using the game as our experimental lab.
We’ve already improved so much from 6 months ago, and we feel that we will improve even more during the development of Subverse. This will make sure we avoid the dreaded “first-year syndrome” that plagues 3DCG artists who are still learning a new engine.
Case in point - compare Lara in Trouble (2014) to Kunoichi 3 (2018), which was done in the same engine. The difference due to experience is vast. The experience we gain on the game, while the programmers are able help us with a lot of the toughest tasks, will translate into much higher quality

So the game doubles as their own IP as well as practice for when they get to making movies again.

And to drop another part from the FAQ's:

Is this going to be different from the flash games you did before?

It’s like comparing a Lada to a Ferrari - not even in the same league.

Tbh the loops in the pandora system don’t look any better that what a skilled artist can do with SFM today, I don’t know if that’s a technology problem or an animator problem on FOW’s end
I agree. The whole thing about UE4 being so much better than SFM hasn't shown in the end product so far.
