Identify Stuck trying to remember a game

hi i am wondering if any one can help me?? i am trying to remember what a game is called. I can remember some parts about it so far it had mind control in it also had a chick called Carlie and part of the story is u had to try and sell a house that noone wanted to buy and u find a vile of something.
