Is 2.5 really the best? 2.7a was way better than b but i dont remember playing 2.5
What Recon said, the 2.7a has more content and is decently stable, 2.5 has less content but it's a bit more stable, for example using your room on 2.7a is kinda buggy, 2.5 it's fine... really depends on what you want

You can try my game (signature).
Others worth mentioning are
Brothel King
Jack'o'nine
Slave maker?

I loved playing this game, too bad it's doubtful it'll ever get finished.
thanks and yes, a shame that this game has been abandoned

If you make a new game, you need to take not only a new platform, but also a new retactor. If you take the outdated Corta editor, it’s best to do nothing at all.
Take the 3D editor. You can use DAZ 3D or other platforms. For example, ILLUSION
Based on ILLUSION projects, you can make characters for free, you can use thousands of already made ones...
Those are good approaches for making a new game, not for trying to make a "good" (i.e. not broken) clone of this one.

Now, I'm just a layman but until somebody explains otherwise, I don't see why those corta girls graphics should be so inextricably linked to the flawed platform (flash) that was (as far as I've heard) the problematic part about this game. In other words, it's gotta be possible to deploy those graphics but put it on a different platform. Right?

To me at least it seems those specific graphics were the main reason for the success of this game.

Read what a flash is and explore the Corta platform. Better yet, read Patreon Simbro. There are many posts explaining why using these resources is futile. There were several authors who tried to make a simbro analogue on the Corta platform and even received several tens of dollars a month for this. But all these attempts were not completed.
It seems they are still alive, but no one is in a hurry to pay them

Explore the game market and what game engines they are made on.
Flash games are limited in functionality and flash is good for small games.
Flash is a thing of the past and even the developers of this program plan to abandon it.

Corta's platform was designed for small flash-based games, similar to the games Corta herself made. But Simbro decided to make a big game out of what is not intended for this. As a result, many bugs that were not fixed and ultimately led to critical errors.

Let's say that the Corta platform can really be put on a good engine. But the question is why?
As technology evolves, there are many modern trends. And here it is proposed to take the outdated Corta platform (developed over 5 years ago) and put it in a modern engine. This is the same as watching digital television on a black and white TV of the 80s.
Now you can find more modern game models with a lot more functions, accessories, etc.
If the author is ready to work on retro technologies, this is certainly his choice. But he must take into account current trends and features of the gaming market. And not the fact that on the new engine, the Corta’s platform will look just as good as a flash.

For example, a project based on Simbro and on another engine
https://f95zone.to/threads/porn-empire-v0-77a-pedev.2857/
Here the financial situation is much better.

In general, I don’t care what the author will do and whether he will do it at all. There are many other games that you can already play.

You do not have any idea what you are talking about.

Flash games are NOT limited in functionality. Its limited in speed, other engines are faster than Flash. Its only one flash problem. Yes, flash is dead, hoverer there is tons of games that successfully developing on the dead engines for years.

Corta platform?! Corta create sprites (IMAGES) that posted on the PlayShapes female model, thats all.

SimBro team is really bed in programming, they do not know how to developing big projects. Second reason is Corta, who not allows using his sprites in other games, anymore.

All games that using a Corta sprites, are not use them anymore, because Corta forced them to remove his art from there games. It's not about technologies.

There is no metter what technology you are using, if you are creating 2d games.

I do not play PornEmpire, nothing can say about this game. About Boombanhoe, as i now, people who supporting SimBro, asked him to create a remake, and supporters grow well, as i now.

Do not take my words literally. All I wanted to say is that the flash platform is limited in comparison with more advanced engines. And just the functionality of other engines in comparison with flash gives me the right to call flash a limited engine. I described the situation in general, technical aspects may be different. But here is not a topic about the technical features of the engines. I just expressed my opinion.
Corta released her games for the presentation of engines. Yes, she makes game models and I know that.
But it was about using the outdated game model of Simbro and transferring it to another engine. Examples of how this can be I have given.
I don’t understand what to discuss here. There is no game, no concrete proposal, there is only a post about what may be the next person out of many, will take and make a new game.

That was exactly my understanding, thanks. No idea why the word "platform" keeps being used. It's basically a graphics package, end of story.

That's too bad. As I said above, I'm fairly sure that the main draw for SimBro was those graphics.

people call it "Corta platform" because it was the name of the first game Corta made with those models or something very close.

Also "Second reason is Corta, who not allows using his sprites in other games, anymore.

All games that using a Corta sprites, are not use them anymore, because Corta forced them to remove his art from there games. It's not about technologies. " Not entirely true, example Boombanhoe is still using Corta's models to this day

It's a shame Patreon does absolutely nothing about these scams. There's no rule that enforces contents creation or determine when a creator is considered inactive/abandoned project, allowing them to siphon money like leeches. Merely tells you to "unpledge and fuck off, don't bother me from my donuts". What about people who are constantly billed, forgetting the small sum of money being charged? Or the hopefuls that recently found the project but simply did not catch the inactive status of the developers? It's not that I care about the money the clueless victims is being drained, I just don't want to see the scammers succeed lol.

The devs has paused the pledges, they are taking nothing form their patrons.
