Nah, but like, seriously. I made an account specifically to ask about the virustotal thing. I'm fairly sure the first post I made got missed because of the 'make 3 posts before anything you post gets seen' thing the site has, and the fact that the post reached a new page before I hit that threshold, so I'm repeating it, given the obvious concerns. Apologies if that's not how it works.
Where do you people keep coming from? Do you seriously think that 1 (one[uno]) no name antivirus has detected something and all the other reputable ones didn't? Also it's a straight rip from ci-en. Do you seriously think someone would waste their time modifying an executable and a valuable exploit on bunch of coomers on a relatively obscure forum?
If at very least 5 or more av engines detect anything then you can be suspicious, but unless popular (and good) ones like malwarebytes, kaspersky, bitdefender detect something then it's probably a false positive.
Hey, it was popping up as 'Emotet', a polymorphic virus used by Ukrainian cybercriminals that isn't going to be caught by an antivirus scan of the files but would be caught by heuristic analysis on a VM, which is exactly where the warning showed up. Can't blame me for wanting to be careful when downloading a rip of a porn game posted by a random forum user. Just common sense.

That's exactly the type of obscurity that exploiters tread on.
Yeah, every new infection is initially going to go unnoticed with all the tricks up malware developers' sleeves. And all they need is one guy to bring their laptop to their workplace and suddenly you've got a worm with a handle on an organization with actual money - to say nothing of workplaces with even more lax security standards. As far as they're concerned, any vector to spread along is a method to strike gold eventually. And that's to say nothing of just directly using some random dude's computer as part of a botnet. It just pays to be careful!

Seems to happen for everyone, so it's probably a bug in this version of the game. Assuming It'll be fixed with the next update.

Honestly, pretty unlikely scenarios. Do you work for a government, military contractor, power plant or water filtration facility? If not then you are not the target. Most of companies get pwned by random phishing emails Mrs. Karen from hr opens on her work computer not sophisticated coordinated efforts. You all honestly think too highly of yourselves, thinking that someone would bother doing anything other than trying to steal your credit card or installing a low effort crypto miner.
