I'd argue that "parental authorities" engaging in sex with their "charges" is problematic from a consent standpoint. And this applies to stepfathers or foster fathers who then make babies with their stepdaughters/foster daughters, too. Even if it's no problem in regards to recessive genes.
It doesn't bother me in fictional games, but it's my honest opinion in regards to real world incest.

Difficult question. In my case, it was a mix of Patreon (you know that one..) + inexperience being this my first game, and I didn't read too much erotc incest fiction to write a half decent storyline so I decided to skip it.
Do I regret doing that? kinda. Incest is a kink that may report big finantial gains. Just look how popular are young marcus, or the family's curse. Hell, even THIS game, shameless impurity, had a nice start of incest storyline. I think we'll have more incest games in time. But well, I'm already on thin ice with Patreon, and I'm not gonna add more fuel to the fire.

One thing I like from TFC or YM, is that the dads are resistant to the MC advances until you press on (grind wise), and the moral conflict of those relationships, the taboo sense (even in this game you have to grind a bit to have the entire sex scene with the dad). I'm not quite sure I could reach that level the way I expect. I mean, maybe NOW I could try my hand at it with the experience I have but I'm saving that for my next project.

Hi, risen from the dead here. I am still working on a new project that has removed these themes for the exact reasons I had slowed and essentially abandoned this title since the incest was so integral to the gameloop and Patreon really has been more difficult to work with.

Well, I had been working on a brothel/business sim type game but that seems to have also been grabbed up as an idea I saw utilized recently. So been in a retooling phase.

Someone on the internet once told me: "There's no more originality in this world. Every single idea you will ever think up has already been thought of and implemented in some form or another. It's more important to take smaller aspects of multiple reference points and overlap them in a sort of collage to create the ILLUSION of originality."
In other words, while someone had created a brothel/business sim type gay porn game, you can still go down that same route so long as it's not exactly the same as theirs is. The important thing is to take reference from their game, but also include bits and pieces from other games as well, and use your own writing to tie it all together.
This is how a genre is created. All the different games that share the same premise will be labeled under a genre since they all play a specific way. It sounds like you are trying to recreate the wheel so to speak here. Think of all the different dating sim games out there. We've got Camp Buddy and Coming out on Top, 2 completely different games but they play exactly the same way with multiple choices needed to be made to get a specific ending with a character of your choice. The difference between the 2 games is obviously the art (and your game can be different porns), the writing, and the setting.
So long as you change the porn, the writing, and the setting of the game, no one will draw direct comparisons between your gay porn brothel sim and the 2 others that exist right now.

Yeah, Sylas was never intended to be a character that appears on Grizzly. The initial plan was to enable the MC to call him daily to raise social skills, and at the end of the friendship grind, you get a $$$ boost. Even the portrait of Sylas is a random guy on internet, he's not even a porn actor.
Heh, yes. It's just the first time I write something like that, in my life. I'm just a programmer, not a writer or even an avid reader. But well, I guess you don't improve if you don't try.

To be honest, incest is not really a super big kink of mine. TFC is my first ever game and I just want to push that out of my system and then maybe later do some other more conventionally themed ones. I'm boringly vanilla.
It is okay to indulge it when you completely understand that it is all just fiction and entertainment. IRL incest is bad and highly problematic due to the power dynamic no matter the genders. I also feel like people nowadays actually prefer step-relationship rather full-blown incest.

My bad for bringing up IRL in the first place XD.
One of the major appeals of video game is to experience things you can't IRL, porn game specifically is to satiate your kinks - unreal or problematic. Insest is just one of them - it tickle some pickles, while might be a turn off for others.
It seems "why there are few incest content games" is cuz: 1. It's difficult to create something interesting from it; 2. Patreon is a main obstacle.
