Guide to minigames

Here’s a guide on how to access every minigame and trigger most new scenes that were added in version 2.0 and version 2.1, except the gambling room, because I won’t keep spending more hours just to get good RNG, I hate RNG. I did this in case it helps anyone, but i don't know if i made it in time to help with the translation, sorry if that´s the case.

First of all it´s important to note that in the basement room, the one where you end up every time you get caught by the maids and lose all your life, there´s a shortcut to every minigame, you just need to touch the blue orb on the toilet, but it only appears after you clear the normal game. The order of the rooms in this guide is the same order the shortcut menu uses.

As one final note (and I promise I'll be done for the day), I would like to know about the minigame triggers. It is not immediately apparent how to get to each minigame. For both testing and context purposes, I need to be able to visually see the text changes. For that reason, one of the best ways anyone can help out besides literally writing a translation is to provide as much detail in how to trigger the minigames in 2.1. If you don't want to post them here, PM me. This is really important, guys. The real work can't begin until I can quickly get to all the new content. Thank you. That's really all.
thanks so much for your efforts. I shall patiently wait.

Alright, guys. Good news. I managed to transfer all of the data from the current translation to the new one (With the exception of the porn scenes. Yet). It should now be possible to play all of 1.1 in 2.1 in English (Testing pending).

Bad news is that I was not nearly prepared for all of the new content. To put this into context, the entire game originally had about 1000 lines, with 70% being porn. Okay, okay. Based on a simple glance at the new content, the devs have at LEAST doubled the number of lines in this game. Scenes are now a hundred lines long instead of forty, for instance. The game's scope and the number of lines in 2.1 DWARFS the 1.1 version.

Add in the fact that I won't be working off an MTL translation this time, the added complexity of the new minigames, and the sheer amount of testing, I have some unfortunate news for everyone. Yes, I will translate 2.1. But this won't be a day or two of work. This might take multiple weeks and I want you guys to be prepared for that.

If anyone wants to help out, attached are the Translator++ files for 1.1 and the first draft of the 2.1 translation.
Any update on this? :)

Hello, everyone, it's me, ValorKG, the original translator for this game.

Sadistic Maid Rebellion was the first translation project I ever finished. Over the course of three days, I got everything completed. The text boxes were small, only two lines with forty characters each. But it taught me a lot about translation in general.

And then I find out that I haven't been playing on the latest version. Whoops. Due to the fact that the game was now three times larger, I was unmotivated to continue. And the lack of a guide was daunting because, since I don't understand Japanese, I wouldn't be able to get the context from the lines alone. Add in T++'s... unusual MTL template for ver2.1 and I decided to not pursue it further.

But... then I see Kokou's post. Very short and simple, but it reminded me that I'm still watching this thread. So, once I got the notification, I decided to check this thread in my curiosity, one more time. And what do I find at the top of page 3 but a FULL GAME GUIDE TO EVERY NEW SCENE IN THE UPDATE. Oh, and a MEGA TO THE LATEST VERSION. Shoutouts to mewtoish34.

T++ has updated to correctly see variables in text. I have a guide to every scene, with all contexts. And Succubus Labyrinth is still not out, leaving me with nothing to translate right now. Add in my experience doing other games and I think it's time. Ladies and gentlemen, I officially declare that the ver2.1 update is indeed getting translated by yours truly!

Like some other games I've done, I might periodically post updates on the translation progress in this thread, so keep an eye out. To whet your appetite (and prove that I am indeed working on it this time), I got something for you guys. Due to Mew's generosity, I presume that you guys already have ver2.1. That mega contains the same copy of the game I'm working on from here on out. And now you can use the following translation patch on that version too!

This patch is a full import of everything from ver1.1. As far as I can tell, every line from ver1.1 has been carried over with some slight typo fixes and minor editing. Hopefully, I copied everything correctly and there are no MTL lines in this that aren't in ver1.1... or any major glitches... Additionally, everything that's new in ver2.1 is MTL translated. Over the next few weeks, I'll be fixing it up to the same quality you expect from the original translation. Enjoy Google's interpretation of events as I work to finish this project once and for all!

See you soon!
