RPGM RPGMaker and the best way to do scenes...

Apologies if this was done before and I would appreciate a link to a thread that covers this. If this is the only one, then here's the content:

I've been noticing that LoQO seems to do their content (animations, scenes, etc.) as on event basis during the main campaign and kind of everything is an Easter Egg hunt looking for them with a gallery option at the end. To be, this seems like it's too easy to miss scenes either based on dialogue choices or not diving 6 maps elsewhere during the perfect time frame between triggers and story progression cause a missed scene.

I've also seen some that have it in the battle scenes which doesn't quite flash to me but still allows you to see everything (though kicks me out of reality sense on that one.)

Any thoughts on what is the best way to introduce scenes in the RPGMaker type functions? Is LoQO's method the best or...?
