HTML games are a mixed bag. Sometimes you find some good ones, and sometimes you find "games" which are just random porn gifs lazily put together with a Patreon linked to milk your wallet. I don't want to showcase those. I would rather give praise to the diamonds in the rough.
How to make it onto this list.
1. If your only language option is English, use proper grammar and spelling. This is the easiest way to tell if someone gives a fuck.
2. Be consistent in image use. Nothing ruins a scene more than having six different models with different skin tones, hair colors, and room layouts.
3. Put effort into the presentation of your game. Have a proper UI and not just a black screen with blue links.
4. You don't need a detailed plot but present something that will make people want to play your game instead of just going to Pornhub.
5. If you use AI art, make sure it's not shit.
6. The game must have enough content to actually play through to a decent degree.
7. Be wary of feature creep. Your game shouldn't require more time management than the player's actual life.

Masters of Raana is one of the most complex HTML games on the website. So much so that I have probably only experienced 3% of the game. It does a lot. It's a slave trainer, it's a dating sim, it's a multi-faceted RPG, it's a life sim, it's an educational game, it's an economic simulator. You can decide to be a young adult, a middle aged man, or an elder. Time can pass but I highly advise you pause time passage, especially if you choose to play an elder, as there are several characters who can age out of their niche. For instance you can find a brother and sister duo orphaned in a ruin. The sister is 13 and tribal so you can basically groom her into the perfect wife... If that's your thing. The time investment is a bit much for me but for those who want your porn games to be a GAME then this is the best on the market.

What is Real?
Right off the bat this game breaks almost all of my rules. Broken English, inconsistent images, uninspiring UI, a paper thin plot, and to top it all off Patreon gated content that's not being used to fix any of the before mentioned issues. I'm bringing attention to this game for one sole reason. It has fleshed out pregnancy storylines with half the cast. The pregnancy goes through stages with NPCs making comments and certain plot elements changing depending on how pregnant you are. It's genuinely impressive and while I'm not gonna shut up about the problems it has, it has chosen to focus on content no other HTML game, to my knowledge, has done or at least done well. I don't recommend you play unless that one element is something you're really into.
