Can someone explain the reasoning behind:
*: The template should always be "NAME [VERSION Nº] [AUTHOR]". Unless it's a complete thread, in which case the version number should not be present.
In my opinion the version number should be present at all threads because if you remove it and the author releases a bug fix or extra content there is no way for the users to easily see that from the thread name if the number is removed. Plus we have plenty of games that are completed and still updated.

version is still present on the OP, but the title simply shows numbers or nothing if complete

In short, the version number should be present in all release threads- it should be in every post as "Version: X.XX". With that said, there should be a version listed in every single thread so it shouldn't be an issue. Now with the titles, we want to bring attention to the difference between complete and incomplete works. So, if it says "[Renpy] [Complete] Lab Rats [vren]", you will see the complete tag is more prominent. If it said "[Renpy] Lab Rats [0.91] [vren]", it makes it more apparent that it's a work in progress. It helps everyone separate the complete from the incomplete versions at a glance. Especially with thousands of uploads available.

My question form the beginning was why is "[Renpy] [Complete] Lab Rats [vren]" enforced instead of "[Renpy] [Complete] Lab Rats [v1.0.1] [vren]" and how would a user realize there is a bug fix or extra content without opening the thread if the version number is removed from all completed threads.
